Single Sex Or Mixed Educational Setting?

avatar

I’m sure that the basic thing every parent wants for their child is for them to be educated. That’s why so many parents strive hard to make sure that their kids go to school even though some ones may not be very privileged to complete their education.

Source

On the long run, some people usually get scared of the opposite gender influencing their child on some bad behaviors so they just want their child to focus on his or her academics. Due to this reason, they put their child in a single sex school. A single sex school is a school that has just one sex. It can be the male gender or female gender. At the same time, the world has really changed so some parents are scared of what kids to in high school these days and they don’t want their child to be a part of that which is quite thoughtful of them.

Which educational setting offers the most advantages for students?

I feel the mixed educational setting is the best for any kind of child. There is no doubt that there may be distractions but no matter what it can be, there will always be something to learn from the opposite sex. Imagine now, some kids may not have sisters or brothers, putting these kind of children in a single sex school won’t help them to mingle with people of opposite sex and even know how that particular gender live their lives.

Source

When you mingle with the other gender, you learn a lot from them. There are so many things that boys do and girls cannot do. If a child is out in a single sex school, such a child may succeed and can do all things by him or herself which will make the child disregard the usefulness of the other tribe but if the child attends a mixed educational setting, the child will be able to know the usefulness of the other gender in the society. He or she will know that not only their gender rules the world but every gender rules the world.

What educational setting would I allow my kids to attend?

I’m surely going to put them in a mixed school l. It would not make sense for my child to be scared of the other gender when it comes to talking to them outside since he or she is in a mixed school and they don’t really have the privilege to see the other gender often.

Source

At the same time, I love it when my kids are free with people. If your child attends a mixed school, it will help to boost his or her confidence and won’t get scared when they see the opposite gender.

I attended a mixed school and it helped me a lot in life. For these few reasons, I’d make sure to put my kids in a mixed educational setting.

I actually also feel the mixed is the best.. yes there's risk of these young relationship things happening during school hours but I think focusing on setting rules to check that would be better than saying I'm not sending my kid to mix... 👌 Lovely post

Greetings, I also agree with a school where education for both genders or sex is taught. That's how I studied and it was the best. A pleasure to read you

What a good reflection you have on this subject, it seems to me that what you say is correct, a mixed school is the best place where a child can be educated, otherwise I think it will cost him a lot to be sociable in real life, thank you for this post.

A mixed school is simply the best
You can learn from the other gender unlike a single sex school

In Germany, there are actually almost only mixed schools. Girls' or boys' schools are the exception rather than the rule and I personally don't know any more. When I was still at school 35 years ago, they still existed, but even then there were exceptions.
To be honest, I can't think of a single real reason why children should be separated by gender, only possibly by performance.
Separate genders only encourage unequal treatment of others. I also think that in some countries this method is only used to oppress women and steer them in a certain direction.
A state benefits from giving everyone the same opportunities, regardless of how rich or poor, male or female, or what color their skin is.

It’s really bad and that’s why we see that some women are not treated well in their countries
It’s crazy!

There are exclusive schools for girls and another for boys here but I prefer mixed. As you said, we learn from interacting with others, no matter the gender.
