BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge! || HEALED OUT Ruleset
HEALED OUT
"All healing abilities are removed."
HEALED OUT is one of the rulesets that limit the use of an ability. The abilities that cannot be used in the HEALED OUT Ruleset are specialized in healing. Some of these abilities are HEAL , TANK HEAL , and TRIAGE . HEAL is an ability that can heal one-third of the max Health points owned by the user of this ability. TANK HEAL is almost the same as HEAL ability but is specialized in healing monsters in the first position. While TRIAGE is an ability that is specialized in healing monsters other than those in the first position.
Monsters with one of the abilities above cannot use the healing ability. But if they have other uses besides the healing ability, there is no prohibition for us to use them when in the HEALED OUT Ruleset.
Because we cannot use abilities to heal, we need abilities to reduce the impact of attacks such as SHIELD to reduce the impact of attacks from Melee and Ranged monsters. VOID abilities to reduce the impact of attacks from Magic monsters. In addition to these 2 abilities, FORCEFIELD can also be used to reduce attacks if the opponent's monster has ATTACK POWER above 4 points.
But if you are the type who likes to attack, the POISON ability can be used to reduce the Health points of the target each round (As long as the opponent does not have monsters that have IMMUNITY or CLEANSE abilities to eliminate the effects of poison).
RULESET & FORMATION
In addition to HEALED OUT, the Rulesets in this battle are...
WEAK MAGIC
WEAK MAGIC is a ruleset that can weaken the advantage of Magic monsters. As is well known, Magic monsters can directly attack the Health points of the target even though they have a lot of ARMOR. The way the WEAK MAGIC Ruleset works is the same as VOID ARMOR ability where the attack from Magic monsters will hit the target's ARMOR first (if it has one), then if there is no ARMOR left, it can only attack the Health points of the Target.
The way to deal with the WEAK MAGIC Ruleset is of course by not using Magic monsters and prioritizing using Melee or Ranged monsters. Because with the same number of Mana points, we can get greater Attack power on Melee and Ranged monsters compared to Magic monsters.
My Line-Up
Cards | Ability | Reason |
---|---|---|
- Give additionals of 1 SPEED and 1 ARMOR to All Allies | I chose to use Kelya Frendul because it will give an additional 1 ARMOR to all my monsters. The additional 1 ARMOR will be very helpful to withstand 1 attack from the opponent's monster so as not to directly hit the Health points of my monsters. | |
TRAMPLE + ENRAGE + RETALIATE | I used Diemonshark and put it in the first position because it has quite a lot of ARMOR. With a large amount of ARMOR, Diemonshark can withstand attacks from multiple opposing monsters. Diemonshark also has the RETALIATE ability which has a 50% chance to activate when hit by attacks from opposing Melee monsters. | |
REACH + BLIND + BACKFIRE | Flying Squid is a Melee monster that has the REACH ability, which means Flying Squid can attack even if it is in second place. Flying Squid also has other abilities such as BLIND which can reduce the accuracy of the opponent's monsters' attacks and BACKFIRE which will deal 2 points of damage when the opponent's monsters fail to land their attacks on Flying Squid. | |
OPPORTUNITY + POISON + DEMORALIZE | I use Deeplurker because I want to utilize its POISON ability to inflict poison effects on the opponent's monsters, especially those with the least Health points (with OPPORTUNITY ability) so that they can be defeated quickly. In addition, Deeplurker also has the DEMORALIZE ability to reduce the ATTACK POWER of the opponent's Melee monsters by 1 point. | |
SCAVENGER + SHATTER + DISPEL | Although Magic monsters do not benefit from the WEAK MAGIC ruleset, I still use Musa Saline because it has the SHATTER ability. SHATTER is an ability that can remove all ARMOR from the target. And I want to use it to "open the way " for my other monsters to directly attack the Health points of the target after all of its ARMOR is removed with the help of the SHATTER ability. | |
CLEANSE + AMPLIFY + SWIFTNESS | In addition to Musa Saline, I also use River Nymph because it has a CLEANSE ability that can clear the debuffs (especially poison effects) of my first-position monsters. | |
SWIFTNESS + STRENGHTEN | I'm using Supply Runner solely because I want to utilize his SWIFTNESS ability. With the addition of SPEED from Supply Runner, River Nymph, and Kelya Frendul*, I wanted to attack (or even defeat) my opponent's monsters first. |
BATTLE START !!!
The opponent uses Waka Spiritblade as a summoner. Please note, Waka Spiritblade will give POISON ability to all opposing monsters. Although the effect of the POISON ability is not 100% active, if you are unlucky, then the attack of each opponent's monster can activate the poison effect.
The opponent also brought Raa who has the RUST ability. RUST is an ability that reduces 2 ARMOR of all my monsters. This puts me at a disadvantage because most of my monsters are unprotected from the opponent's monsters' attacks.
In the first round, Flying Squid and Supply Runner attacked the ARMOR of Harklaw. then Musa Saline joined the attack and destroyed all the remaining ARMOR of Harklaw so that Diemonshark and River Nymph could directly attack his Health points. Meanwhile, Deeplurker targeted his attack at Ravenhood Warden and managed to give him a poison effect.
Lira the Dark failed to land her attack on Musa Saline while Magi Necrosi successfully attacked her. The same thing happened to Diemonshark who managed to avoid the attack from Harklaw but got hit by the attack from Ravenhood Warden and received the poison effect from the attack. Raa can attack twice and choose targets randomly, in this round he directed all his attacks to Flying Squid but all of them failed to hit Flying Squid so he had to take 4 points of damage from the effect of BACKFIRE ability.
In the second round, Diemonshark, Supply Runner, and Flying Squid defeated Harklaw. Then Riftwing who took his place took attacks from Musa Saline (and wiped out his entire ARMOR) and River Nymph. Meanwhile, Deeplurker managed to defeat Ravenhood Warden.
Lira the Dark defeated Musa Saline. Magi Necrosi cast a poison effect on River Nymph. Meanwhile, Raa managed to inflict poison effects on Deeplurker and Supply Runner.
In the third round, Diemonshark and Supply Runner defeated Riftwing. Meanwhile, Flying Squid and Deeplurker defeated Magi Necrosi.
Lira the Dark failed to land an attack on River Nymph while River Nymph successfully attacked her. River Nymph and Deeplurker were successfully defeated by Raa.

Review of this battle
I can win this battle because I have a slight advantage in terms of speed. In addition, I was also helped by the BLIND ability of Flying Squid so that some attacks from the opponent failed to hit my monsters. Although most of the opponent's attacks also give poison effects, some can be overcome with CLEANSE ability and defeat the opponent's monsters quickly, thus making my monsters not suffer for too long.
