Which style do you prefer? I think I've already chosen

If you compare the first two with the last two, which style of photography do you prefer?

The difference I want to refer to is the background. The first two have a darker background, and the last two have a lighter background. As you know, I like to work in the manual mode of the camera, and still create the criteria when I take my photos. That way I can try to capture on the sensor what I have in my head, without allowing the decisions to be made by the machine.

Going over the theoretical part of the exposure triangle, I have taken the time these days to go out and take pictures, practice and distract myself. But that has also meant varying the results I get. And one of them is the one I present today.

In the first couple of photos I use a fast shutter speed and a higher ISO. And since the flowers are in a wooded area, the shadows are darker and the flower stands out. But in the second pair of photos I use a slower shutter speed and a lower ISO of 100 or 200, which also brightens the surroundings. The flower is still the protagonist but in a different way.

Now, which one do I prefer? Please let me know your valuable opinion.

Both are good, but I think I'll keep trying these days to take pictures with the first setting. I promise to bring them later and give the exclusive to @liketu and keep sharing our good pictures.

See you next time!

The photos are my own, taken with my Canon EOS Rebel t3i camera.

Personally I think these photos with dark backgrounds look more interesting, As long as there is a point of light on the flowers, but it's just my opinion, However, all the photos are very good :)

Thanks for sharing @aaalviarez :)

Thank you very much for your feedback. And that's what a lot of photography is about, what we want to achieve. Without editing so much we manage to do fantastic things and adopt a style that distinguishes us, or show how we feel through the photo taken. Regards @dimascastillo90
