A happy resumption again…

Today is another day on the earth's surface. Let's give thanks to the source that created life and all in it. We should always appreciate waking up each day and still being given the breath of life. We thank him for rain, we thank him for sun, we thank him for pain and we thank him for joy…

This week has been another week for me in January, and today would be the fourth day in a week. Just in the blink of an eye, we realized that the week is gone, we await the weekend and then the next Monday to resume back to work again…

Many times it is always fun to be able to have a nice rest after every work. This is why some companies even give out leaves to their workers and some give vacations so that they can make sure their employees rest well and enjoy themselves before resuming again.

One thing that a holiday gives is happiness and peace of mind. The feeling that you don’t even have to wake up as early as possible, get dressed, and rush down to your workplace every morning is a source of happiness on its own. And in addition to that you can feel free to use your time in whichever way you want it. You can spend your time with your family and friends, you can spend your leisure time on your hobbies, you can go on outings and tourism. There is a lot of fun to be derived from holidays.

Back in the days

I remember back in the days when we got to vacate from school. Most of the time it brings mixed feelings to us. We knew we were going to miss each other so much and for some time, but in this same heart we have been longing to meet with our friends and families at home.

When we are on holiday, the joy is always different. We sleep a lot and play a lot too. But when the routine became too constant then we started to wish for days when we would resume back to school and meet with our friends again and have fun in classes.

We must have been wishing for the resumption date ourselves but when it’s a day or few days to resume we start feeling like the holiday should keep going and not stop yet. Those kinds of feelings of just resuming back to school then, I thought all those vibes would end as soon as we are done with schooling 🧐. But it was no different.

When I got into the higher institution I also thought that I don't need to be so happy when it comes to taking a vacation from studies, I even promised myself not to go home as soon as we vacate. But immediately we got our vacation date. I was among the first set of people to evacuate the institution after sitting for those stressful exams and lectures. When I got home again I still had that feeling of resuming back to the struggles of school. I thought it would end as soon as I was done with my degree and it would be a different case when I started working.

Recently

Time flies till I was in my youth service. At this point, I was working as a teacher and I am sure the stress got reduced compared to school days. I started working and was happy doing it, but at some point, I felt like we should get some rest. I was totally tired and stressed 😩 from taking those children all day. In the beginning, it was like every day should be a Monday and no weekend but when it’s on Friday I can’t wait to have some rest again for the weekend.

All in all, I finally realized that the vibes of resuming and going on vacation vary from one person to another. Many would not even wish for vacation and I would say those are the set of people that love the kind of job they are into. They might be happy with their vacation but they would always wish for it to resume anytime soon. And on the other side, the lazy fellow would never want to resume all because he might not like the job they are into or is just naturally lazy and would always want to be free as always.

My present days

For this year, I am not into any job yet so I can’t tell you my feeling about it. I am always on my phone 24/7 and I am trying my best to remain active as much as I can. This gives me no special feeling between the holidays and my normal days. So when it is time for resumption as everyone else starts to prepare for resumption I am already on resumption and when it’s time to go for vacation too I am already on vacation too.

My prospects

But if I am to talk about myself getting a job anytime soon, I would love it to be a job that I love and am passionate about. I would remain my old self who is always into mixed feelings about not wanting to go on vacation and also have that joy towards resumption again since it’s something I love to do and I am passionate about it. I have no reason to feel lazy about that.

Vacations are cool and I am always using this opportunity to wish all my friends who have resumed or are yet to resume back to their place of work either this week or the next A HAPPY RESUMPTION.
