My Pre-Valentine Date
I’m sure a lot of people will come here and shout eiiii. Even if nobody does I know two people who won’t disappoint. If not that I do not want to mention names I would have mentioned @yahuzah and @nhaji01. I know valentine is on Wednesday but you all remember the conversation I had with my sisters about enjoying my youth?Yeah,that’s what I’m doing. I’m enjoying my youthful stage. I went on a pre valentine beach date today. I know you might be wondering with who because I was the same person who came here telling everyone I don’t have a man.
Yes, I still do not have a man and I can’t answer the question “with who”. Let’s call the person Anonymous. So I was supposed to go on this date around 3pm but I ended up being late.No, I’m not those people that are always late. I’m actually the friend who always reports on time but for today, I was crocheting and by now you all should know what crocheting does to me.
I really wanted to finish what I was doing before leaving the house because it is something I’ve been working on for the past 2 weeks and I had to try and finish today.
What makes me so excited is the fact that it’s for my mom and I really can’t wait to surprise her.
Anyway, I got to the beach and Anonymous was already there. Anonymous wasn’t even mad at me. Anonymous understood why I came late. We spoke a lot and then decided to go to have a feel of the waves. It was too cold to go into the water and I was feeling awkward to say I was cold because I didn’t want Anonymous to do that thing in the movies where the person tries to embrace you or whatever to keep you warm.
Knowing what I was avoiding, I asked that we leave the beach. From Anonymous’ facial expression, I could see signs of disappointment. Probably Anonymous thought we were going to have a long date. After thinking about how I actually got there late and everything, I just decided to stay a little longer and just like magic anonymous’s countenance brightened which kind of made me smile.
We had really meaningful conversations, from personal experiences, future expectations and from adventures to ambitions.We actually realized we were two different people living in different worlds but on the same planet which made it interesting because unlike poles attract right?. No, I know what you think I’m thinking and I’m actually not thinking like that.It was getting late so I had to finally leave.
Anonymous asked if I was going to honor the next date invitation.In my head I was like there’s already a next one?
Honestly, I’m yet to even know if I enjoyed this date so I don’t know if I want to experience another with Anonymous.
