The Hive Engagement League

This league is not based around financial rewards and relates to engagement.

Everyone currently on my master list has a chance here, including those powering down or dealing in delegations over the past couple of weeks. Only the top 100 scores are shown.

The score is made up from a simple formula which uses the following types of engagement:

  • Posts (P)
  • Comments (C)
  • Number of people spoken to (PS)
  • Comments outside of own posts (CO)
  • Unique Author posts (UA)
  • Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (CR)
  • Comments - length in characters (CL)
  • Up-votes to others (V)
  • Up-votes to different authors (UV)
  • Self-votes - No minus score but no bonus HIVE (SV)

Note: Copy/Paste comments will be excluded!

Awesome stuff.

What is worth more points? I have been trying to figure it out as I wanted to increase my ranking. I put a fair bit into it in the last round which has really paid off in this update 🙌

Well done on such an awesome list and well done to everyone pushing hard to increase engagement and make Hive an awesome place.

Hahaha I know I saw a few slip ups there. Just skimmed out from 3rd spot. I don't have as many comments or depth comments so replies to comments.

I'm guessing that's where I am missing out. I'll have to dig in a bit more and make sure I pick up that aspect of it.

Yup, I'm quite happy about my UV counts. I have pulled in some delegations and was unsure if I should re delegate elsewhere or focus on upvoting unique authors and new users.

I think I might try that for abit this week and then reassess.

Not too phased about returns, this is fun!

At some point, maybe. But in the end, I'm not too competitive. And to be honest, it took me so many hours to get to the top, I was harming my other commitments in life. It's not only to be quick on the keyboards, but one needs to be quick in reading posts and/or listening to the music and the though process to come up with some meaningful comment. Music section of HIVE is time consuming, but very interesting anyways :)

Khal dropped a blog on it and I think a few others are also posting about it.

There is an incoming air drop they will give 1 to 1 project blank coins to current staked Leo Coins.

Nows a good time to get in or even write a few financial posts to earn some Leo to get the air drop.

I think and don't quite me Project Blank will be open slather on what can and can't be posted but more information is yet to be provided.

Nice work, a familiar name in @jaynie taking the top prize! However, the REAL prize that everyone looks forward to each week is the #33 prize. It's too easy to get the top prizes, you only need to engage like crazy! To get the #33 prize is much more of a tactical game with a splash of luck!

The cool thing about all these contests and giveaways we've had on Hive is that compared to Bitcoin and ETH if Hive were to take off in a big way later ($100+), we'll all be able to come back and see who gave us a vote or reward or delegation that turned our stake from $1 to thousands.

I am with some economic problems, I had to power down, my son traveled to another city in search of a better future, as he is the smallest of the family, my wife decided to accompany him and see what happens there, if the province was better than ours had plans to move; The truth is that there is no work for people over 40 years old, now I have to get the money to return; Things in Argentina are a bit complicated

oh... shit, damn. I am above 45 too :/ and in my place things probably go the same bad scenario - especially in province. metropolice locations (as mine) are a bit more benefitious... I was a jobless for the whole last year, we are living off my wife's tiny salary. I search for a decent job too... and look into more bright future. Once I have caught up with work on my desk... that must be done, I will take a look into all the other wonderful things on offer of late, @ecency being one of them.

Not able to do much when you battling along, now the fibre has arrived I will have to knuckle down and start doing some posts as well. Yippee, at long last this past week it came into the home, new router delivered, catch up on backlog and settle into Hive more often... Well that is the plan.

Looks like another pretty good week, postings were down a bit and it did feel a bit slow but not to bad over-all. More active commenting, that is always good to see, not sure at all why the number of votes seem to be a lot less, perhaps due to the price rise and fear of voting on stuff that may seem to be over priced. Still not to bad a drop in the number.

Congratulations to all for helping make Hive a nice social place.
