When someone tell you to mind your own business, in my language, it is considered an insult but this is not an insult, I am just trying to use the exact language used by Robert Kiyosaki.

If you have read Rich Dad, Poor Dad, there is high tendency that you will understand what I am about to say or at least have an insight about it.

I will like to tell you that there are many people who are not minding their own business and if you keep reading, you might found out that you are one of them.

Most times we earn and earn but what normally comes with an increased income, is an increased expenses.

Where do we get it wrong or where was it stated there once you have an increased income, you should increase your expenses. 🤔🤔🤔

Before I continue, I will like to tell you that I am a victim of what I am saying right now but I have read some books in the past few days and I have come to realized that no one is my enemy except myself.

When was the last you exercised?

This question is not about when was the last time you did an endurance trekking or went outside for a roadside jogging or maybe you are even like me, it is not about the last time you played soccer or tennis or had a sport outing with friends and family.

When was the last time you exercised your brain?

The mind is the most powerful tool and the most dreadful thing God gave man is choice which comes from the mind after validation.

Are you connecting the dot or you want more explanation?

What makes an accountant always see figures first before the words?
Why makes a doctor sees images first and read their irregular writings?

All these are processes of how well the mind has been trained.

Accountant's mind was trained with numbers so he is surely going to be engrossed with numbers no matter how hard you try to convince him.

If you want to lose an argument with an accountant add numbers most especially percentage then you will noticed how active his mind will be changing the percentage to real number and calculating the real value and the cost benefit.

Same thing is applicable to you, whatever you feed your mind is what it will develop into a model for you which be readily available to gives instantenous output from rigorous process.
This is not something new but what you have not been practicing.

So I will ask you again, when last did you exercised your mind?

How do you see college degree?

I will love to keep this as anonymous but while I was talking with someone this morning about reading a book, he said.

The last time I read a book was in 2008.

I was surprised beyond expression. That was 13years ago. 🙄🙄🙄

How can someone stay informed when he is not ready to be informed.

Many people have said it that we are in the information age but are you aligned to the information.

What is your business?

The business I am talking about her is you?

  • How well do you mind what you absorb into your brain.

If you did not take your mind as a business, you might be out of business very soon.

It has been reported that it takes two years for what you know to become obsolete but many people are still moving around with what they learnt in 1900s 😂😂😂

I did not blame them though they did not realised that they are obsolete until they are out of work.

Now, I hope you have an answer to the question now?

How well do your mind your business?

Till I cross your path again, I am like a ready made pen in the hand of the creator. I am
A²¹

You know I thought you will be digging deep into the act of minding our different business as Robert Kiyosaki did.

You made me remember that he did say we do not know the difference between our jobs and our businesses. And yes, we ought to mind them because they are stepping stones to financial freedom.

Book? Don't go there. I read everyday. I am addicted.

On Sunday, I got "The rules of wealth" by Richard Templar. Finished it on Tuesday because I was a bit distracted. It was another eye opening book on its own.

I don't know why most people don't read, and always feel proud to say it out loud. Knowledge is power, people.... Let it stick 😴

I am sorry about your friend, he doesn't know what he is missing.

I'll tell you I have a better understanding of my finances because of the books I read this past few days. Oh, I even made a post about some of them.

If you don't mind, you can check it out, Money and wealth, the same thing?

On a final note, I am happy you understand how more money always equals more expenses for some of us who are financial dullards, until, someone points us in the right direction as the books did to you.

Anyone that does not understand this basics might not understand the businesses and jobs because it is complex for a mind that is not ready to know.

I also read everyday but I had a shift because I am preparing for exam and I need to create a balance between the two.

Compared to some people, I am lazy in reading because I plan reading three books in a months but I also understand better than reading is another way of exercising the mind.

Most people believe that reading should stop at graduation and that alone shape their reading habit from the young and enthusiastic person to a confused being.

I am also a victim of matching expenses with income but now I know better and I have put what I learnt into practice which has yielded a result already.

I am spending more time in planning my finances now than before.

Thanks for giving me another opportunity to learn more from your posts. I really appreciate it.
