Have you ever asked yourself what you have to offer the world?

Ever since you were born, you have been living off someone's intelligence.

  • The school you attended was someone's idea.
  • The food you are eating was once idea and experiment.
  • The love life that you cherished so much self was someone's postulation.

What do you now have to offer the world?

What prompted this?

The city of Enugu has come with its strange occurrences.

Is it really strange?

Maybe it is strange to me?

Those that have been staying here are so much aware of it that water is very scare in Enugu?

What caused that?

I can't say but maybe the topology of the area because Enugu is a city on the hill as it is called.

So yesterday, I went to buy sachet water and also buy a bucket of water so that I can take my bath then something flashed through my mind.

How can a sachet of water be valued same amount as a bucket of water?

Right on the spot, I got my answer.

The sachet water is considered safe for drinking while the bucket of water is not safe for drinking but it is meant for doing other miscellaneous things but don't forget, it is the same water but different value.

Analogy

Let take this back to what you and I love doing so much.

Even if you don't love it, you like it because it is a source of income for you.

How can some posts attracts more people while some posts will not attract anything?

Though it takes time and being among a particular community to grow exponentially but what you will get will be proportional to the value that you added.

  • Your daily activities might sounds absurd to you but if you share it, it might be a motivation for another person.

  • You might not like sharing your personal life but whenever you have the prompting to do so, kindly share without remorse as there might be someone experiencing similar situation.

As I wrap up, don't forget that you will only get from the universe according to the value that you added to it.

well, in my case i think the knowledge I have gathered over the years on hive is quite valuable and I use it to help other people on their journey and as well organize my community in a way that is mutually beneficial to all members.

Like I said in our last meeting (and it is a popular quote): think about what you can do for your community not what the community can do for you. There are no central entities benefiting from your effort, it is mutually beneficial to all community members that hivenaija grows. So with that mindset, there is a lot we can accomplish.

Thinking of what we can do to the community is the genesis of adding value to the community because we are intentional about the kind of change that we want.

Adding value cover a whole lot of activities of which moderation and giving insights are part.

Yeah, love is an emotion and at times mixed with the emotion of sex and jealousy.

The ability to differentiate between the emotion of love, sex and jealousy was postulated by someone as a way of adding value to humanity after a valid conclusion was reached from experiment.

Really?! So the first set of parents needed someone to name the emotion they felt for their kids that made the do everything in their power to protect them.
