A goal achieved thanks to Hive (Es/En)

Feliz tarde amigos de Hive. Les extiendo un cordial saludo a cada uno de ustedes, deseando de todo corazón que se encuentren bien. Hoy quiero compartir uno de los tantos logros que he obtenido debido a mi trabajo en esta bella plataforma. Espero que puedan leer mi publicación y beneficiarse de la misma.

Happy afternoon friends of Hive. I extend a cordial greeting to each one of you, wishing you all well from the bottom of my heart. Today I want to share one of the many achievements I have obtained due to my work in this beautiful platform. I hope you can read my publication and benefit from it.

Poco imaginé que encontraría un sitio en donde pudiera realizar una de las cosas que más me gusta, como lo es escribir y recibir remuneración por esto. Hive no solo es mi trabajo,es el lugar en el cual puedo expresarme libremente mediante mis publicaciones.

Desde hace tiempo tenía la necesidad de comprarme un buen colchón. Considero que todos los seres humanos deberíamos tener acceso a los muebles de mejor calidad por nuestro bienestar.

Particularmente, sufro de escoliosis y de un de un pequeño desnivel en la cadera. Esta patología se agrava cuando no se tiene el colchón apropiado. Siendo sincera, no pensé que llegaría el día en que pudiera comprar mi colchón, pero gracias a Jehová Dios, quien me condujo a Hive, hoy disfruto de la gran alegría de haber podido adquirir este colchón.

Little did I imagine that I would find a place where I could do one of the things I love the most, such as writing, and get paid for it. Hive is not only my job, it is the place where I can express myself freely through my publications.

For a long time I had the need to buy a good mattress. I believe that all human beings should have access to the best quality furniture for our well-being.

In particular, I suffer from scoliosis and a small unevenness in the hip. This pathology is aggravated when you don't have the right mattress. To be honest, I did not think that the day would come when I would be able to buy my mattress, but thanks to Jehovah God, who led me to Hive, today I enjoy the great joy of having been able to acquire this mattress.

Trabajando arduamente en esta maravillosa plataforma, fui ahorrando poco a poco, convirtiendo algunos de mis ingresos en dólares, pude reunir la cantidad apropiada para comprarme el colchón ortopédico. La compra del mismo fue toda una odisea, ya les cuento el porqué.

Lo primero que hice fue averiguar los precios del colchón ortopédico. Me quedaba impresionada por el costo tan elevado, sin embargo, me puse la meta de ir guardando poco a poco sin sentir desesperación, de todas maneras toda la vida he dormido en colchones semi ortopédicos y algunas colchonetas. Así que no quería sentir presión ni nada ningún sentimiento negativo.

En vista de que los precios oscilaban entre los trescientos y cuatrocientos dólares, porque yo lo quería ortopédico, matrimonial y con pillow; me propuse reunir la mitad y quizás comprarlo semi ortopédico. No obstante, sentía que era el momento de que por fin comprara el que yo deseaba y trabaje un poco más en mi paciencia. Me dije: "No importa si te tardas un poco más en reunir el dinero, debes comprar calidad". Y así fue, me tardé un poco más pero lo logré.

Working hard on this wonderful platform, I was saving little by little, converting some of my income into dollars, I was able to gather the appropriate amount to buy the orthopedic mattress. Buying it was quite an odyssey, I will tell you why.

The first thing I did was to find out the prices of the orthopedic mattress. I was shocked by the high cost, however, I set the goal of saving little by little without feeling despair, anyway all my life I have slept on semi-orthopedic mattresses and some mats. So I didn't want to feel any pressure or any negative feelings.

Since the prices ranged between three and four hundred dollars, because I wanted it orthopedic, matrimonial and with pillow; I decided to get half and maybe buy it semi orthopedic. However, I felt it was time for me to finally buy the one I wanted and I worked on my patience a little more. I told myself, "It doesn't matter if it takes you a little longer to raise the money, you must buy quality." And so it was, it took me a little longer but I did it.

El colchón que yo deseaba costaba cuatrocientos cincuenta dólares, pero una amiga me comentó que fuera a la empresa de colchones y aunque no estaba muy convencida de que encontraría algo bueno allí, me llevé una grata sorpresa. Resulta que estaba un mejor colchón valorado en doscientos diez dólares. Era matrimonial, ortopédico y con pillow. Genial, era mi oportunidad, pero para ese momento me faltaban cuarenta dólares.

Los cuarenta dólares los podía conseguir la siguiente semana, el muchacho de la empresa me dijo que no me preocupara que siempre habrían colchones disponibles y que no consideraba que para la siguiente semana lo aumentaran de precio. No tenía a nadie que me prestara el dinero, así que debía esperar una semana más. Además del colchón, debía comprar el box spring, calculé los gastos y en total la cuenta me daba doscientos cincuenta dólares. Saqué un dinerito de Hive y llegué a esa cantidad en dos semanas.

The mattress I wanted cost four hundred and fifty dollars, but a friend told me to go to the mattress company and although I wasn't convinced I would find anything good there, I was pleasantly surprised. It turned out that there was a better mattress valued at two hundred and ten dollars. It was a double mattress, orthopedic and with pillow top. Great, that was my chance, but by that time I was forty dollars short.

The forty dollars I could get the next week, the guy from the company told me not to worry that there would always be mattresses available and that he did not consider that for the following week they would increase the price. I had no one to lend me the money, so I had to wait another week. In addition to the mattress, I had to buy the box spring, I calculated the expenses and in total the bill gave me two hundred and fifty dollars. I took a little money out of Hive and reached that amount in two weeks.

Teniendo mi dinero completo para el colchón y el box spring, voy a la empresa emocionada y con mucha ansiedad a realizar la compra, justo cuando entré, me percaté de que no estaba el colchón que quería, me sentí muy mal. El vendedor me dijo que habían hecho un pedido muy grande y que ya no había, pero que fuera la semana siguiente porque estaban elaborando más, solo que se tardarían porque se había dañado una máquina.

En ese momento ya no tenía paciencia, comencé a pasear en la empresa y vi unos colchones hermosos pero más costosos. Había uno Queen, ortopédico y con doble pillow en doscientos sesenta dólares. Yo pensaba, si me compro este no me alcanza para el box spring y si no la compró es probable que no reparen la máquina y me quede sin la oportunidad de comprarlo.

Having my money complete for the mattress and the box spring, I went to the company excited and very anxious to make the purchase, just when I entered, I realized that the mattress I wanted was not there, I felt very bad. The salesman told me that they had placed a very large order and that there was no more, but to go the following week because they were making more, only that they would be late because a machine had been damaged.

At that moment I had no more patience, I started to walk around the company and I saw some beautiful but more expensive mattresses. There was a Queen, orthopedic and double pillow top mattress for two hundred and sixty dollars. I thought, if I buy this one I will not be able to afford the box spring and if I don't buy it they probably won't repair the machine and I will be left without the opportunity to buy it.

Ese día me tardé como dos horas en la empresa, estaba con mi papá y le pedí sugerencias. Él me dijo que me esperara hasta la otra semana que sacaran el matrimonial, pero algo en mí me decía que cualquier cosa mala podía pasar. Después de pensarlo tanto, decidí comprar el Queen. Claro, tuve que pedir diez dólares prestados y luego esperar un tiempo para reunir para el box spring.

El flete era gratis, después de hacer la compra debía esperar en casa a que lo llevaran en la tarde. Cuando llegó el camión y sacaron ese colchón tan gigante, yo quería gritar de felicidad. Fue un momento espectacular. Por fin tenía mi colchón, más grande del que quería y con más años de garantía.

That day I was at the company for about two hours, I was with my dad and I asked him for suggestions. He told me to wait until the next week when the matrimonial was released, but something in me told me that anything bad could happen. After thinking about it so much, I decided to buy the Queen. Of course, I had to borrow ten dollars and then wait a while to raise the money for the box spring.

The freight was free, after I made the purchase I had to wait at home for the afternoon delivery. When the truck arrived and they brought out that giant mattress, I wanted to scream with happiness. It was a spectacular moment. I finally had my mattress, bigger than I wanted and with more years of warranty.

No pude usarlo durante muchos días porque me faltaba el box spring, así que lo mantuve en la sala de la casa por un tiempo hasta que pude comprar el box spring. Eso fue otra gran experiencia, pero la compartiré en otra publicación.

I couldn't use it for many days because I was missing the box spring, so I kept it in the living room for a while until I was able to buy the box spring. That was another great experience, but I'll share it in another post.

Realmente, trabajar en Hive me ha reportado muchos beneficios. La alegría de poder comprar algo que necesitas es muy reconfortante. Sin duda alguna, Jehová Dios me ha bendecido con un hermoso trabajo, ser creadora de contenido en Hive.

Actually, working at Hive has brought me a lot of benefits. The joy of being able to buy something you need is very comforting. Without a doubt, Jehovah God has blessed me with a beautiful job, being a content creator at Hive.
