Papá, "Yo invito" (Es/En)

Feliz noche queridos amigos de Hive. Los saludo con mucho cariño y espero que cada uno de ustedes se encuentren bien. Quiero compartir con ustedes una bonita experiencia que me hizo recordar mi niñez. Es mi deseo que puedan leer mi publicación y sacarle provecho.

Happy evening dear friends of Hive. I greet you with much affection and hope that each of you are well. I want to share with you a beautiful experience that made me remember my childhood. It is my wish that you can read my publication and take advantage of it.

El sábado pasado salí con mi papá a realizar algunas compras. Realmente la hora que elegimos no fue la más apropiada porque estaba haciendo muchísimo calor, además había demasiada gente en el centro de la ciudad, así que todo era un caos. Estábamos buscando buenos precios para comprar y hacer unos perros calientes porque íbamos a compartir con unos amigos el domingo en la tarde.

Teníamos la lista para hacer las compras y ya sabíamos algunos sitios específicos a donde ir a comprar, sin embargo, nos tardamos muchísimo porque en los locales comerciales había que hacer una gran cola para cancelar, aún así tuvimos paciencia y esperamos. No no quedaba otra opción, ya teníamos un compromiso pero créanme el calor era insoportable, así que le dije a mi papá que fuera a la tienda que faltaba y que yo luego lo alcanzaba porque iba a comprar unos helados. Mi papá me da su tarjeta para que pagara los helados y esta vez le dije con orgullo: "Yo invito", mi papá se sonrió y continuo hasta la otra tienda

Last Saturday I went out with my dad to do some shopping. The time we chose was not really the most appropriate because it was really hot, plus there were too many people in the city center, so everything was chaos. We were looking for good prices to buy and make some hot dogs because we were going to share with some friends on Sunday afternoon.

We had the list to make the purchases and we already knew some specific places to go shopping, however, it took us a long time because in the stores there was a long line to cancel, even so we had patience and waited. There was no other option, we already had a commitment but believe me the heat was unbearable, so I told my dad to go to the store that was missing and that I would catch up with him later because I was going to buy some ice cream. My dad gave me his card to pay for the ice cream and this time I proudly told him: "I'm buying", my dad smiled and continued to the other store.

No es la primera vez que yo invito, con mi papá he salido muchas veces y he cancelado yo, solo que esta vez se me vinieron a la mente muchísimos recuerdos bonitos, sobre todo, porque he estado algo sensible por los exámenes que le tuvimos que hacer recientemente a mi papá y que gracias a Dios Todopoderoso salió bien. Sin embargo, ese episodio me dejó muy susceptible pero ya estoy mejorando.

It is not the first time that I invite, I have gone out with my dad many times and I have canceled myself, only this time many beautiful memories came to my mind, especially because I have been a little sensitive due to the tests that we had to do recently to my dad and thanks to God Almighty he came out well. However, that episode left me very sensitive but I am getting better now.

Mi relación con mi papá es la mejor, existe muchísima conexión y confianza entre nosotros, por eso mi amor por él es infinito. Él se lo ha ganado por ser tan buen padre. Mientras preparaban los helados recordé muchas de las ocasiones en las que mi papá y mi mamá con mucho sacrificio nos sacaban a pasear a la plaza y nos compraban helados, cotufas y algodón de azúcar. No era todos los fines de semana, solo cuando se podía pero era genial el momento. Mis hermanitos y yo lo disfrutábamos muchísimo.

Cuando fui a pedir el sabor del helado para mi papá, sentí como si fuera mi hijo, es algo increíble, es como si llegaran a invertirse los papeles. Le pedí un helado de chocolate con oreo y galletas de chocolate porque mi papá ama el chocolate y como tenía mucho tiempo que no comía permití que se diera un gusto. Cuando vio su helado fue como ver a un niño feliz por el sabor que le compré, ya que por la dieta que tenía hace poco no había podido comer chocolate. Le pedí que me tomara una foto con los dos helados y me la tomó en blanco y negro. No se dio cuenta y la tomó así 😅

My relationship with my dad is the best, there is so much connection and trust between us, so my love for him is infinite. He has earned it by being such a good father. While they were preparing the ice cream, I remembered the many occasions when my mom and dad would take us out to the plaza and buy us ice cream, popcorn and cotton candy. It was not every weekend, only when we could, but it was a great time. My little brothers and I enjoyed it very much.

When I went to ask for the flavor of ice cream for my dad, I felt like he was my son, it was something incredible, it was as if the roles were reversed. I asked him for a chocolate ice cream with oreo and chocolate cookies because my dad loves chocolate and since he hadn't eaten it for a long time I let him treat himself. When he saw his ice cream it was like seeing a happy child because of the flavor I bought him, since he had not been able to eat chocolate due to his recent diet. I asked him to take a picture of me with the two ice creams and he took it in black and white. He didn't realize it and took it like this 😅

Cuando me di cuenta de que la foto estaba en blanco y negro ya nos habíamos comido parte del helado, le pregunté por qué la había tomado así y me dijo que no se dio cuenta. Quería volver a tomarme la pero no quise, no aguantaba el calor, lo que quería era refrescarme. Después de comernos el helado, terminamos de hacer las compras y nos fuimos a la casa. Fue una salida común y corriente, pero para mí fue fenomenal. Estar con mi papá y poder darle algo de mi es lo máximo. Su alegría siempre será la mía.

When I realized that the photo was in black and white we had already eaten part of the ice cream, I asked him why he had taken it that way and he told me he didn't notice. I wanted to take it again but I didn't want to, I couldn't stand the heat, what I wanted was to cool down. After eating the ice cream, we finished shopping and went home. It was an ordinary outing, but for me it was phenomenal. Being with my dad and being able to give him some of me is the ultimate. His joy will always be mine.
