Una pizza que nos sacó de apuros (Es/En)

Feliz tarde, amigos de Hive. Como de costumbre les extiendo un cordial saludo acompañado de mis más sinceros deseos de que se encuentren bien. En esta ocasión, quiero compartir con ustedes lo que nos ocurrió en casa el pasado viernes. De seguro muchos de ustedes habrán vivido una experiencia parecida. Espero que puedan leer mi publicación.

Happy afternoon, friends of Hive. As usual, I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes for your well-being. On this occasion, I would like to share with you what happened to us at home last Friday. I am sure many of you have had a similar experience. I hope you can read my publication.

Hace exactamente una semana, mi mamá me pidió que la acompañara al mercado para comprar algo de comida, pero que antes pasáramos por algunas tiendas a ver si encontraba un bolso o cartera que pudiera usar de medio lado; parecido a los bandoleros pero más grande. A mi mamá le encanta este tipo de bolsos, así que aunque días atrás ya habíamos visto el bolso y podíamos ir directamente a comprarlo, le sugerí que fuéramos a unas tiendas más grandes de la ciudad que quedan un poco lejos para observar los bolsos allá.

Mi mamá accedió a mi sugerencia y fuimos a dos tiendas grandes, resulta que no había el tipo de bolso que ella buscaba, por lo tanto, lo que debíamos hacer era ir a la tienda en donde ya lo habíamos visto, comprarlo allí, luego ir al mercado y llegar a casa a realizar el almuerzo. Sin embargo, en una de las tiendas grandes había una oferta en ropa de damas y nos quedamos casi tres horas viendo.

Llegó un punto en que mi mamá me dijo: "te espero afuera". Habían camisas hermosas en $2, la verdad era genial ver tanta ropa de buena calidad a precios accesibles. Aunque tardamos tres horas, lo único que compré fueron dos camisas 🤭🤭🤭 en ese momento no podía gastar más dinero.

Después de comprar el bolso y otras cositas que necesitaba mi mamá, nos vamos al mercado. Ya eran las dos de la tarde. Mi papá nos llama y nos menciona que iba a adelantar el almuerzo pero se dio cuenta de que no había ni siquiera un poquito de arroz. Claro, es que nosotras íbamos al mercado y supuestamente llegaríamos a la casa antes del almuerzo. Así que se no ocurrió la brillante idea de comprar una pizza.

Exactly a week ago, my mom asked me to go with her to the market to buy some food, but first we had to go to some stores to see if I could find a bag or purse that she could use half-sided; similar to the bandoleros but bigger. My mom loves this kind of bags, so even though we had already seen the bag a few days before and we could go directly to buy it, I suggested that we go to some bigger stores in the city that are a little far away to look at the bags there.

My mom agreed to my suggestion and we went to two big stores, it turns out that there was not the type of bag she was looking for, so what we should do was go to the store where we had already seen it, buy it there, then go to the market and get home for lunch. However, in one of the big stores there was a sale on ladies' clothing and we stayed almost three hours looking.

It got to a point where my mom said, "I'll wait for you outside." There were beautiful shirts for $2, it was really great to see so many good quality clothes at affordable prices. Although it took us three hours, the only thing I bought were two shirts 🤭🤭🤭🤭 at that point I couldn't spend more money.

After buying the purse and other little things my mom needed, we went to the market. It was already two o'clock in the afternoon. My dad calls us and mentions that he was going to bring lunch forward but he realized that there wasn't even a little bit of rice. Of course, we were going to the market and we were supposed to get home before lunch. So she came up with the brilliant idea of buying a pizza.

Esta pizza pertenece al tipo combo charcutero, lleva jamón, tocineta, chorizo y salchicha, además de lo que normalmente trae una pizza. Les confieso amigos, que esta pizza fue deseada hasta más no poder. Realmente mi mamá, mi papá y yo teníamos mucha hambre. Mi mamá y yo salimos a hacer pocas cosas y nos tardamos demasiado en la tienda de las ofertas, llegamos a la casa a la cuatro de la tarde y habíamos salido a las nueve de la mañana.

This pizza belongs to the deli combo type, it has ham, bacon, chorizo and sausage, in addition to what normally comes with a pizza. I confess, my friends, that this pizza was desired to no end. My mom, dad and I were really hungry. My mom and I went out to do a few things and it took us too long at the bargain store, we got home at four in the afternoon and we had left at nine in the morning.

Yo no tenía ganas de tomarme fotos, lo que quería era comer, pero después no iba a tener evidencia para contar la experiencia, así que todos hicimos el esfuerzo por esperar un poquito más mientras tomábamos las fotos. En las fotos pueden corroborar el cansancio que tenía, pero lo que prevalecía era el hambre.

I didn't feel like taking pictures, what I wanted was to eat, but then I wouldn't have evidence to tell the experience, so we all made the effort to wait a little longer while we took pictures. In the pictures you can corroborate how tired I was, but what prevailed was hunger.

La pizza se veía genial, su olor era extremadamente agradable y los ingredientes la hacían más apetecible.

The pizza looked great, its smell was extremely pleasant and the toppings made it more appetizing.

Cada uno tomó su primera porción y comenzamos a comernos la pizza. La verdad estaba muy sabrosa, aunque debo confesarles que he probado otras que son mejores. Esta es la primera vez que compramos una pizza de combo charcutero, de hecho, no sabía que existía. Nos animamos a elegirla para variar un poco y considero que fue una buena elección, sin embargo, debemos seguir variando para poder llegar a conocer la mayoría de las pizzas que venden en ese centro comercial en donde la compramos.

We each took our first slice and began to eat the pizza. The truth was very tasty, although I must confess that I have tried others that are better. This is the first time we bought a deli combo pizza, in fact, I didn't even know it existed. We were encouraged to choose it for a change and I think it was a good choice, however, we must continue to vary in order to get to know most of the pizzas sold in the shopping center where we bought it.

Esas manos inocentes que ven en la foto son las de mi mamá, ella come muy rápido y luego que se comió su primera porción, comenzó a agarrar los pedacitos de queso que habían quedado al extraer las primeras tres porciones. Posteriormente tomó su otra porción de la pizza, lo mismo hicimos mi papá y yo. Luego compartimos entre tres los dos pedazos que quedaban para que todo fuera equitativo. Sin embargo, cuando nos terminamos de comer la pizza, mi papá y yo nos comimos una arepa que mi papá había realizado mientras esperaba que nosotras regresáramos.

Those innocent hands you see in the picture are my mom's, she eats very fast and after she ate her first slice, she started to grab the little pieces of cheese that were left from the first three slices. She then took her other slice of pizza, and my dad and I did the same. We then shared the two remaining slices among the three of us so that everything would be equal. However, when we finished eating the pizza, my dad and I ate an arepa that my dad had made while he waited for us to return.

Mi papá no nos acompañó al mercado ese día porque estaba enfermo, él no se imaginó que llegaríamos con una pizza, así que esto fue una grata sorpresa para él. Aunque lo único que pudo cocinar fue una arepa porque en ese momento lo único que había en casa era harina, estuvo dispuesto a compartirla porque después de la pizza, tanto él como yo, quedamos con hambre.

Fue un día inusual, sin embargo, lo disfrutamos al máximo. Mientras tengamos salud y estemos con nuestros seres queridos, siempre habrán grandes momentos inolvidables que atesoraré en mi corazón.

My dad did not accompany us to the market that day because he was sick, he did not imagine that we would arrive with a pizza, so this was a pleasant surprise for him. Although the only thing he could cook was an arepa because at that moment the only thing at home was flour, he was willing to share it because after the pizza, both he and I were hungry.

It was an unusual day, however, we enjoyed it to the fullest. As long as we are healthy and with our loved ones, there will always be great and unforgettable moments that I will treasure in my heart.
