So, believe me when I say this, if you love chess, you are gonna have a wonderful time watching this, and non chess lovers..you will love chess once you are done.
A coming of stage story of a fictional character named Beth Harmon played by Anya Taylor, whose life is just filled with three things, chess, alcohol and tranquillisers.
The lady is as classy and savage but what is bad is her ignorance towards her own life and future.
An expert brain that can outwit multiple top ranked players of Chess, but when she faces the Soviets she has to play the ace game.
An interesting story, what's more interesting is it's screenplay, which is very different because we see certain glimpses of her childhood here and there, cinematography of high quality,
Amazing casting with Marielle Heller who plays Mrs Wheatley, Harry Melling playing Harry Beltik , Jacob who plays the charming Townes and Thomas Brodie who plays Benny watts , a Us Champion and many more such performances.
It's a gripping story, keeps you interested through out yet won't deny the fact that People with zero knowledge of chess might find this a bit boring, but trust me ..towards the end you will love it.
Hats off to Scott Frank and team for such an amazing series on chess which will give us the true essence of such an intellectual game.
Do check this out, Anya Taylor has just slayed this role to perfection, and this will be cherished for a really long time.

When we do things with passion and dedication we can see a totally different reality to what we are used to, we see how time passes slowly and we bring meaning to everything around us.
We are inspired by what brings value to our lives and ignites that inner flame, the feeling is indisputable, with different shades and aromas.
A series that shows exactly that passion, drama and love for Chess. You could not imagine how attractive this series can be for a real chess player and if you will love the way they develop the series.
Queens Gambit, has the facility that does not have to be seen by players or Chess connoisseurs, as it gives us the opportunity to get to know the game as the series develops.
We will know the meaning of each Chess piece and the history through each move or strategy. The series is set in the 50's and immerses us in the culture of a generation of players who love and feel passion for the game.
It won't take you long to immerse yourself in the series and empathize with the protagonist, who must go through different personal challenges that will change her life completely.
