A few tins of Guinness for Beer Saturday

Guinness is back

Dry January is over and it's been non stop sport for me since 8pm yesterday. It started with watching Ireland's rugby team dispatching France with relative ease and that never happens against the French in Paris or Marseille in this case. Ireland were immense and some new faces showed their worth with Crowley, Nash and particularly Big Joe McCarthy impressing.

Then today I trained my son's U8 team from 9:30am to 10:45am, my other son's U11 team from 11am to 12:30pm, then dropped them home and grabbed my golf clubs for a tee 1:30pm tee off in my local golf course competition. It was a mixed bag to be honest, some great golf and some questionable golf, but I don't care because I rolled in my 9th ever Eagle. It was the first two shots that made it. I smoked a high drawing drive over the trees to cut the dogleg par 5. I had 213 yards into a 1-2 club wind. I hit a gem of a 3 wood right on the money and put it on the green within 3 feet and rolled in the putt. Man, did it feel good!

Then I got home and it was more sport on the telly!

There was no shortage of beer choice in the bottom of the fridge. We've got two fridges by the way, otherwise there would be less beer and more vegetables! That's all in our other fridge.

Guinness was the winner today as I watched the sport and though back on my delicious Eagle this afternoon.

A good old Guinni. That's my usual go to when I'm out and about.

Cheers 🍻

"Dry February" is just starting in the Czech Republic. Fortunately, I manage not to be subjected to these collective actions :-)

You can never really go bad with them, right? Even a bad pizza is still pizza, even a bad beer is still beer!

Chicago is a shit show lol. But it is what it is Blaze. In not in the city anyways, so its fine around me, but things are definitely changing a but everywhere. As long as we can fish and drink a beer once in a while, in peace, i guess we'll be alright.
