Coco

This is Coco. She's nuts. She's also full of life and is a gorgeous dog. She joined our family back in July this year, but already it's hard to imagine life without her. She just slots in so well and our three kids absolutely love her and her crazy little ways. I put my glasses on her the last day for the laugh and my middle man, who's five captured this photo. It gives her that pensive intelligent look! She really is smart though and it got me wondering whether Springers are seen as top of the class in terms of intelligence or if other breeds are seen as smarter.

Who's a clever dog?

I found this webpage that ranks 63 dog breeds from most intelligent to least intelligent. Dalmatians were in at number 63 and top spot was unsurprisingly held by border collies. Springers came in at number 13, so they are seen pretty smart overall.

She is a fast learner and I really need to read a book or something about dog training so that I help her to reach her potential. I have been time poor since we got her, so I need to try and eek out some extra time to train her more before she gets too old. One would assume it gets harder to train them, the older they get.
