Regaining the love of parents (Parts 2 of 2)

Greetings to everyone here once again. I am very excited to be part of this community, and today I would like to write about and share with you guys an exciting topic about which I was sent a video to watch and learn from. The topic for discussion today is "Regaining the love of parents (Parts 2 of 2)" Follow me as we continue to discuss this topic today.

If we want our parents to love us, we must do things that would not make them hate us—simply put, do the opposite of things that make your parents hate you.
It is our character, behavior, and interactions with others that will win the hearts of others. Looking at the story of Jacob, we learned that Jacob was hated by Esau, and in order for him to appease that hatred and anger from Esau, he took that which he passed in his hand for his brother Esau.

This can be found in the book of Genesis 32:13–15: "And he lodged there that same night; took of that which came to his hand a present for Esau his brother; two hundred she goats, and twenty he goats, two hundred ewes, and twenty rams, thirty milch camels with their colts, forty kine, and ten bulls, twenty she asses, and ten foals."

Those presents were very precious at that time and even in our current generation. After giving that present to his brother; let's look at what happened in verse 16 "And he delivered them into the hands of his servants, every drove by themselves; and said unto his servants, Pass over before me, and put a space between drove and drove, And he commanded the foremost, saying when Esau my brother meeteth thee, and asketh thee, saying, Whose art thou? and whither goest thou? and whose are these before thee? Then thou shalt say, They be thy servant Jacob's; it is a present sent unto my lord Esau: and, behold, also he is behind us."

We can see that after his brother gave him those gifts, he forgave him and started loving him. Also, our character is very important in winning the souls of people. It is written in the book of Proverbs 11:30; "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise"

In order to win the love and soul of others, we must use wisdom like Jacob. In the book of 1 Corinthians 9:20-21; "And unto the Jews, I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; To them are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. To the weak became as I weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might, by all means, save some"*

All those things that made your parents hate you, do the opposite, extra love, extra care, extra good things. This means that if we do things that are loved by our parents, we would win their love, and we should remember to pray for them as well.
