Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Have you Joined the Bitcoin Halving Event Yet?

Greetings to all Splinterlands warlocks, I am here once again, and I welcome you all to my blog as well, Today, I write to submit and share my entry to the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. This week we have a new topic that goes by the theme "Baron's Bounty Bitcoin Halving Promo Event". I will share with you all my opinion about that. Without much ado, let's dive into the topic straight forward.

Last week I shared with you guys the new Social Media Challenge which was about the Baron's Bounty Bitcoin Halving Promo and this week we still have it running as it was timed to last for 15 days. It is quite an interesting challenge and event and I am happy to take a bold step and participate in this event.

I had to gather funds and purchase at least one of the cards in the shop. For my first purchase, I bought the Baron Fyatt card which cost me almost 25$ which was quite expensive just for one monster. The points earned sum up to 20,121.429 with a prize chance of only 2. It will be challenging for me to gain some of the prizes from the reward pool, but I hope I get something worth what I spent to buy the card.

I used the VOUCHERS to get some bonuses before I purchased the card, I bought 312 VOUCHERS plus 15,650 DEC to purchase just one card. The Baron's Fyatt monster is too expensive and with the stats, if not the Max card, I think it has been overpriced. But then all things being equal, it is their game and they know the reason for pricing it that amount.

I am hoping to win something from the $100K worth of prize pool, there should be something to encourage anyone who participates at least because those cards are costly and worth something as a prize. The Bitcoin Halving for this year seems to be quite different because the price of the cryptocurrencies is still stagnant and shows no sign of a bullish trend even after some days of Halving. Ah well, it wasn't the expectation to have the bullish trend right after the Halving but rather after months, so we patiently waiting for it.

The Screenshot above indicates my card was purchased and one beautiful thing is that it is a Death Element monster which I love to use sometimes. I will try it out in my subsequent battles and see how best it can play.
