The purpose of our existence (Part 1 of 3) | The Old Path

Greetings to everyone here once again. I am very excited to be part of this community, and today I would like to write about and share with you guys an exciting topic about which I was sent a video to watch and learn from. The topic for discussion today is "What is the purpose of human life? | The Old Path." Follow me as we discuss this topic today.

It is not because of the purpose that we exist. It is because of the purpose of the One who created us. It is not the purpose here on earth but the purpose of the Creator for us creating us here on earth. We were born onto this earth without our consent. What we realized is that we are born and we start growing up and up. We only grow to have our brain functioning through thinking and giving us awareness of things.

We have to know that our purpose on this earth is to serve the purpose of the one that created us. Even if you are to ask your parents whether they were expecting to have you as a child, they would respond negatively. Let's look at the book of Ephesians 2:10 "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

Our purpose in this world is to do good works and if we don't abide by that we would be defeated by ourselves in serving the purpose of our creation. We have to always listen to the words of those that guide us to do good deeds and not follow or listen to those that teach or show us to do bad deeds as it goes against the purpose of our creation.

From the book of Ecclesiastes 6:3 "If a man begets a hundred, and live many years so that the days of his years be many, and his soul be not filled with good, and also that he have no burial; I say, that an untimely birth is better than he." To do good, to be good, and to adhere to what is good is the purpose of our existence in this world.

The Bible is saying even if one lives 100 or more years and does not do good, then the purpose of such a person is not fulfilled. Have we ever sat down to think and ponder over our purpose, what is the purpose of me being a male or a female, or a gay or a lesbian?

It is our greatest purpose to do good and also to worship the one that created us on this earth. In doing good, we should do that to our friends, families, and even our enemies. I don't think doing good would take anything away from your wealth but instead would increase your wealth and goodness.

This is where I end my topic, and I would like to use this opportunity to say a very big thank you to everyone and also to the administrators and moderators of this community for the wonderful efforts they are putting into the community. I say God bless you all.
