Had a rather uneventful Sunday. In the afternoon, I went out to pick up a new phone case that I bought online.

After getting the parcel, we headed over to visit my Mother-in-law for a pleasant catch-up. By evening around 6:30 PM, we made our way over to Lorong 8 Toa Payoh for dinner. The hawker centre was lively and crowded with dinner crowds, so it wasn't easy to find an empty table.

傍晚大约六点半左右，我们到大巴窑8巷去吃晚餐。熟食中心里十分热闹，坐满了来吃晚餐的人潮，找张空桌子还真不容易。拿了包裹之后，便前往岳母家探望她老人家，顺便聊聊天。

I ended up settling for a simple plate of economic bee hoon paired with some fried tofu, cabbage, otah, and noodles, topped with a dollop of chilli. The whole plate cost about $4 in total, which made for a simple, satisfying meal.

最后，我决定简单吃一盘经济米粉，搭配了豆干、包菜、乌打和炒米粉面，再加点辣椒酱。这一盘总共只要大约4元，简单却吃得很满足。
