Went to the hawker center for lunch before going back for another pickleball tournament. While browsing through the hawker stalls, the bright red sign of "Lao Guang Ji Claypot Rice" caught my attention.

再去参加另一场匹克球比赛，我去了小贩中心吃午餐。逛摊位的时候，“老广记砂锅饭”鲜红的招牌吸引了我的目光。

They have quite a nice selection on their menu, ranging from traditional Claypot Chicken Rice, Gong Bao Chicken, Black Pepper Beef, to Braised Pig's Trotter and Pork Ribs Rice.

午饭后，我去了小贩中心，准备再去参加另一场匹克球比赛。逛摊位的时候，“老广记砂锅饭”鲜红的招牌吸引了我的目光。

I bought a claypot chicken rice for $6 and was handed buzzer number 10. While waiting at the table, I set up my bright orange chopsticks and spoon ready for action.

When the buzzer rang, I collected my piping hot claypot chicken rice. It smelled so good with enough chicken pieces, sliced Chinese sausage (lup cheong), green vegetables, and an egg right in the center! The rice at the bottom had that perfect crispy burnt texture.
