It was raining most of last Sunday, so I didn't do much or go out for the most part of the day. But last Sunday evening, I decided to head out to check out a rather new supermarket . It's the new FairPrice supermarket located right at Old Airport Road. Here is the outside view of the building. This FairPrice is actually built on the second level of the famous Old Airport Road Food Centre building. The facade features very colorful geometric patterns that look quite nice under the evening sky.

上个星期天大半天都在下雨，所以大部分时间我都没怎么出门，也没做啥。不过再上一个星期天傍晚时分，我决定出门去看看一家挺新的超市。那就是位于旧机场路新开张的平价超市。这是建筑的外观。这家平价超市其实是建在著名的旧机场路熟食中心的二楼。建筑外墙有着非常鲜艳的几何图案，在傍晚的天空下看起来挺好看的。

To get up to the supermarket, there is a travelator (flat escalator). This is super convenient, especially if you are pushing a trolley, wheel chair, or carrying heavy grocery bags down later.

为了方便大家上去，这里安装自动扶梯（平梯）。这真的超级方便，特别是如果你推着购物车、轮椅，或者等会儿提着沉重的手提袋下来的时候。

Once you reach the top of the escalator, you will see clear signs pointing you towards the entrance.

一上到二楼，你就会看到非常清晰的指示牌指引你走向入口。

Before entering, there is a large staging area with rows of shopping carts lined up neatly. The doors open up to a very bright and modern-looking supermarket.

在进去之前，门口有一个宽敞的区域，整齐地排列着一排排的购物车。门后面就是一个非常明亮且现代化的超市。

It's definitely a great addition to the neighborhood. Now people can enjoy their famous hawker food downstairs and then easily head upstairs to grab their weekly groceries. Talk about convenience!

这绝对是给这个邻里社区带来的一个极好新设施。现在大家可以在楼下享受著名的熟食中心美食，然后轻轻松松地上楼采购每周的日用品。真是太方便了！
