On Friday night, I was heading out to Orchard Road to shoot photos of the Christmas decorations. I decided to go to Shaw House to get dinner for # MarketFriday. They have a few restaurants there.
星期五晚上，我往乌节路拍摄圣诞装饰的照片之前，决定去Shaw House吃晚饭。他们在那里有几家餐馆。

Decided on this Japanese restaurant on the 4th floor as the one on the 3rd floor has a queue but there is a 20 minutes wait. So, I put my name and number on the list and went shopping around at Isetan.
选择了 4 楼的一家日本餐厅，因为 3 楼的寿司餐厅要排队，但要是要等 20 分钟。所以，我留下手机号码在名单上，然后去伊势丹逛逛。
They were having some sale include… Ace bags. Cool. However, the place was really quite quiet and not many shoppers.
他们有促销包括。。。 Ace包包。不错哦。然而，这个地方在购物的人不多。
Then they called and I went back up.
然后他们打来电话，我就回去4楼了。
Not a big place but not a small place either. Too bad no window seats for us.
不是一个大的地方，但也不是一个小地方。可惜没有靠窗的座位。
There was nice decorations in front of my table though.
不过我的桌子前面有漂亮的装饰品。
They have a menu but some addition to the normal menu on separate sheets. I was tempted to try the omni meat.
他们的菜单外还加了应该是新菜肴。有考虑尝试那里的Omni“肉”。
After placing our order, they brought us some sause and sesame in a container. I've never had sesame served this way before.

We ordered hot ocha tea which is refillable.
我们点了可再加添的ocha 茶。
I had the fried pork and sushi set but I shared the sushi with my wife.

My wife ordered a set with two different types of fried pork. We love the seseme sauce on the cabbage.
太太点了一套有两种不同类型的炸猪肉。我们喜欢淋芝麻酱在卷心菜上吃。
Overall, it was a good meal and I happily go to the cat after eating.
总的来说，这是一顿美味餐，我吃完后很高兴地去找招财猫。
Although, it was a bit pricey with $68 for two.
虽然，两个人$ 68也不算便宜。
As I left, I went out and looked at the escalator going up to the cinema. I have seen a few people going up and down. Not many.
离开时，我走出去，看着通往电影院的自动扶梯。我看到有几个人上上下下。不多。

That sushi looks great. It is not cheap to make. A bit of labor and the ingredients add up.
Plus if the rice is really Japanese, it adds to the cost
Wow! That is a high escalator! Your dinner looked delicious, but, I agree, quite pricey! There was over $10.00 worth of taxes - Yikes! It is expensive to eat out there.
I like the sesame sauce on the cabbage. I love the cabbage. They really gave you a nice view, but, I like the window better myself. Would you go there again?? Honestly- except for the price, I thought it was pretty nice. Nice just got expensive! Thanks for the awesome post!
#MarketFriday has evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of what is normal for where you live? These are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I can only hope this to be true.

There are higher escalator here I have been on but this is one of the higher ones.
It's a bit expensive but I won't mind going again but not so soon.
