📷#MarketFriday Friday Ramen Dinner at Santouka | 星期五山头火拉面晚餐😎(by @ace108)
Went out after a work from home Friday a couple of weeks ago for #marketfriday by @dswigle to The Central at Clarke Quay for dinner. Don Don Donki has a kind of food court there that was rather empty at night. So, I sat there and waited for a while.
🎶Meanwhile, some music for you to enjoy as you read. This piece is part of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, particularly the first of the 4 violin concertos, called Spring.

When my wife arrived, we went looking around before ending up Santouka.
Their menu were displayed outside and we had to order before going in.
The place wasn't big but we got a table by the window.
We started with a pot of green tea.
Then the gyoza came.
Followed by my wife, Spicy Shio Ramen.
Finally, my Tokusen Toroniku Shio Ramen.
Their lunch deal would have been better but luckily we had some voucher or would have paid more than $65 for the meal.

Wow, didn't know there is a Santouka in Singapore. There is one in Costa Mesa, CA my wife and I would go to on occasion years ago. Their ramen is pretty good, but their charrsu bowls were amazing. Same menu in California too! Now I have to try one in Japan.
I like their ramen and I think this is not the only one in Singapore. 😎
Thanks for visiting.
Have a good day.

Starting immediately, #MarketFriday will be paused for a period of time. I want to thank you for your support along the way and I look forward to seeing you back when I resume the posting concept.
#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.
Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday
#MarketFriday loves you!
I'll be back to posting MF soon!

I think people won't really stop.
Let's see how many of us continue. 😎
Hope your break means you are just going for a holiday.
