🎶Meanwhile, some music for you to enjoy as you read. This piece is part of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, particularly the first of the 4 violin concertos, called Spring.
🎶让大家继续读的时候,欣赏一点音乐。这件作品是维瓦尔第的“四季”的一部分 - 4小提琴协奏曲中的第一首,名为“春天”。

Nice rooster among them. As I went to the bus stop, I saw another rooster following a hen crossing the road but he took his time.

I bought a pair of shorts from Decathlon recently at $12.90 and used a coupon for $5.

I went to Decathlon at Chinatown Point to pick up the item. It's probably the smallest Decathlon store in Singapore.
我去了唐城坊的Decathlon取货。 这可能是新加坡最小的Decathalon商店。

Nice to not rush for table at the food courts but dining at a restaurant means paying about $15 for lunch.
不用去食阁跟人挤也好但是在一家餐厅用餐意味着要为午餐支付约15元。

Is it still illegal to harm those roaming chickens in any way? There are so many places that they became loose and the population has blown up. Singapore doesn't have too many, but, they probably keep them in check.

Or someone eats them without permission! ::)

Pork meatball porridge sounds interesting. I thought you were dining at the mall. Now I need to go back and look. I missed something!

Thanks so much for the videos, especially the chicken crossing the road. I thought the car would have to spook him. LOL

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world. Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday

Rules of the Road to Join #MarketFriday!

1.Go to any type of market, or anywhere where you pay money for a service. It can be a museum, a movie theatre, or an auction. Be creative!
2.Tell us a little bit about the market or the event. What brought you there? What did you buy? How much did it cost? We like to compare prices, otherwise, it is just pictures of a market!
3.Post the pictures! No out-of-focus ones, please! Tell a little bit about the pictures that you post. Having many pictures to scroll through does not make a better post without explanation.
4.Use the MarketFriday Community Platform to post #hive-196308 (this is not required, but appreciated) If you don't, then #MarketFriday should be your first tag
5.Following me and reblogging the post so more see it would be appreciated !! Not a rule, just appreciated, more vision for more views on your posts!
. You must put #MarketFriday by @dswigle somewhere on your post.
6.#MarketFriday post should be submitted sometime on Friday UTC
7.The post MUST be in English
8.Drop the link into the MarketFriday comment section so I can find it

They really grew in population to many places. We are not allow to feed them but some people do and around the office area, there are many of these chickens. One day when it cause harm or accident, something may get done. Recently, there were crows attacking people incidents and they started trapping them to cull them. They have grown in in population partly due to abundance of discarded food waste litter. I was surprised the chicken waited for final moment before hoping up the walkway.
Thanks for coming by.

I was surprised too!! The Caribbean has many, Key West and Miami... all the big tourist places where they feed them! Well, they don't but the tourists do.

Singapore never used to have litter! What happened?

We are a cleaned country rather than a clean country. I think these "fine" that made the "fine" country are not strictly enforced nowadays. I've seen too many empty drinks bottles or cans left on benches or bus stops. It's sad to see this.

It really is! Many times, it is the economically challenged places that let that go, with other worries on their plate.

That isn't the case with Singapore. Like the US, it will become important when it does and not a day before.

Le sigh.
