Why Do I Play The Guitar With Both Hands?
Why did I decide to be ambidextrous?
Many years ago when I was learning to play the guitar I got very discouraged and almost gave up. Since it was very difficult for me to learn and I wasn't able to make any progress I just stopped practicing. I became undisciplined and constantly compared myself with others. After various events in my life, I tried it again and now it is one of several instruments that I have mastered. What happened? What caused this change in my life? Why did I decide to be ambidextrous?
Each of us has experienced debacles, challenges, and obstacles in life. Perhaps right now you are crossing a dark valley and you are discouraged and without the strength to continue. I understand you perfectly. But what do difficulties in life have to do with playing the guitar ambidextrous? A lot! Through this personal experience, I want to encourage you not to give up. No matter what situation you find yourself in, there is always hope. With a little help and a good community, we can move forward.
With this guitar analogy I want to share with you the dynamics of what it means to overcome challenges through the adoption of effective principles and life habits. Enjoy the video until the end, as I will talk about four basic values or principles of life that helped me learn to play the guitar with both hands.
You might say – I don't even have an interest in playing the guitar with one hand! No problem, these values and/or principles of life can be applied to all areas of your life and are useful to help you achieve any goal you have set for yourself. I'm talking about resilience, having an action plan, discipline, and being content with yourself.
¿Por qué decidí ser ambidextro?
Hace muchos años cuando estaba yo aprendiendo a tocar la guitarra me desanimé mucho y casi me dí por vencido. Puesto que me costaba mucho aprender y no lograba avanzar, pues deje de practicar, a ser indisciplinado y constantemente me comparaba con otros. Después de varios eventos adversos en mi vida volví a intentarlo y ahora es uno de los varios instrumentos que domino. ¿Qué sucedió? ¿A qué se debió ese cambio radical en mi vida? ¿Por qué toco la guitarra de forma ambidextra?
Cada uno de nosotros ha experimentado debacles, retos y obstáculos en la vida. Quizá ahora mismo estás cruzando por un valle oscuro y te encuentras desanimado y sin fuerza para continuar. Te entiendo perfectamente. Pero, ¿qué tienen que ver las dificultades en la vida con tocar la guitarra de forma ambidextra? ¡Mucho! A través de esta experiencia personal quiero animarte a no darte por vencido. No importa la situación en la que te encuentres. Siempre hay esperanza. Con un poco de ayuda y una buena comunidad podemos salir adelante.
Con esta analogía de la guitarra quiero compartir contigo la dinámica de lo que implica vencer retos a través de la adopción de principios y hábitos de vida efectivos. Disfruta el vídeo hasta el final, ya que hablaré acerca de los cuatro valores o principios de vida elementales que me ayudaron a mi a aprender a tocar la guitarra con ambas manos.
Dirás tú – yo no tengo interés a tocar la guitarra ni con una mano. No hay problema, estos valores y/o principios de vida pueden ser aplicados a toda área de tu vida y son útiles para ayudarte a conseguir cualquier meta que te hayas propuesto. Estoy hablando de la resiliencia, tener plan de acción, disciplina y estar contento contigo mismo.
