My Ecency DreemPort Challenge Intro!

I’m a little late entering the Challenge, and therefore I don’t have a partner. Nevertheless, I would love to participate. I talked to Dreamie (@dreemsteem) and she gave me the green light – so here I go with my Presentation post.

My name is Armando, and I am originally from Mexico, but after studying and living a few years in the USA I moved to Germany. I’ve been here for over 20 years. It was here that I met my beautiful wife, and together we have four wonderful children.

As I’ve mentioned I’ve lived in three different countries but I have visited many more. That has been a privilege but also a challenge. Through the years I’ve had the opportunity to get to know wonderful people, live interesting experiences, learn new languages (I speak Spanish, English, and German), taste different foods, elevate my social-human skills and expand my horizons and gain international experience, and intercultural competences.

I studied Theology and Cross-Cultural Communications - so, yes, I'm a Pastor. I am also a Certified Goal Attainment Coach, Certified Personal Development Coach, and Tiny Habits®Certified Coach. Since 1994 I have dedicated my life to preaching the Word of God, spiritual counseling, and Life Coaching in Mexico, the USA, and Germany.

A few extras things about me:

  • I love my family
  • I enjoy very much working with people from different cultures, and professional and cultural backgrounds to help them achieve their dream goals
  • I have an orchard
  • I play Guitar 🎸, Piano🎹, Saxophone 🎷, Harmonic, and different Percussion 🥁 instruments.
  • Favorite music: Jazz 🎷🎵🎶

Yes, I've been blessed with those opportunities. I would love to travel some more but now is not the right time. As for you, stay faithful and focused, your time will come. 👍

Wow. That's amazing. You can do many thing I think because able to do so many thing is not easy.
Once I tried to learn how to play guitar. After passing several days I left because I understand that it was very hard and it take too much time to learn.

Did you try to learn for yourself or did you have a teacher? It only takes 20 minutes every day and in less than a month you can be playing songs!

I tried to learn it from my friend who was able to play guitar very well.. Actually it was very hard for me to practice regular and that thr reason i left it.

I have had informal and formal music teachers. It's almost impossible without them. But some time along the road I became self-sufficient - even though I don't know everything.

As you said, having the discipline to practice and being constant at it is the key to learning anything in life. Maybe you should give it a try again!

OK,

I can get along in Spanish, though I am not fluent. I learned a tiny bit of German and Hungarian when I was a teen. I have been a life-long student of Koine Greek, though I am not a great student. However, recently (within the last couple of years) I have set out to read through the entire New Testament... I'm perhaps 2/3rds through at the moment, pressing on a bit at a time. :D

And yes, Jesus is my King, though I have far to go as his subject...
