When Everything in You Wants to Quit

The moment things get difficult, we tend to lose our motivation and then find ourselves distracted by menial tasks. Believe me, I know that pull toward comfort all too well.

When the pressure hits, our brains naturally look for the path of least resistance, causing us to abandon our long term objectives for short term comfort.

But here is what I have learned through my own struggles. When things get incredibly hard you will naturally want to quit, but keeping your eyes fixed narrowly on one clear goal will give you the motivation to push through, even on the days when everything in you wants to give up.

So here is a question for you, what is the one clear goal you need to keep in sight when you feel like quitting today?

My brain is actually hard wired to seek out difficult scenarios and look for the resolution, it registers comfort as a no no. Wouldn't go as far as Masochistic tendency but it is leaning that way, when things get hard I simply allow focus to sharpen and I double down on effort lol 😅

It happens quite naturally. Most of the time our main focus is on the goal of financial freedom or to have enough of resources to live our lives, nicely. Exhaustion follows while achieving the target and sometimes it's get boring routines, either. Nice way to deal with when we lack some motivation. Thank you for guiding.

Great reflexion, @raxhi! Yes, motivation is unreliable, that's the reason I'm writing this series of post. I'm glad you like them. Thank you!
