Something's with the sky tonight...
Not something 'wrong'
But something.... something... odd, something weird

Don't believe me?
It's true... you can see for yourself - below...

Well, it's not really to-night per se,
but it was the evening of the 8.8.2022...

One dark, stormy night...

DSC00125a.JPG
The colours were off, for one
Strange whites, grey/blacks interspersed with some classic sunset reds and fiery orange
Frankly, the red/orange was about the most normal
Some eerie greens tinged some clouds
And even the shape of the clouds were a little...'off'!
🤨

DSC00132a.JPG
It wasn't as if a storm was coming... was it?
The shades in the heavens were.... "dirty"!
For lack of a better description
Like I said,
Something's with the sky tonight

DSC00133a.JPG
Thank heavens, the city skylights seemed normal
The usual lights were coming on
Pinpricks of normalcy...
Kinda...

DSC00129a.JPG

DSC00109a.JPG
Weirdness reigns again
Most colours disappear from a portion of the sky
Only inky blues remain...
...amongst flashes of white

What is happening?

DSC00098a.JPG
Back to the first scene, of the clump of two trees
Inky blues and whites, and a vein of gold
Creeping across the sky
Like veins of colour embedded in a gemstone, or a slab of marble...

DSC00135a.JPG

DSC00142a.JPG
Only to my left, the "normal" colours of a sunset
Show proof that Mother Nature has not totally abandoned us!

Perhaps she plays a trick on us... mere mortals
Perhaps she is bored, or being extra creative...
In a mood
Afterall, her feminine moods may come into play every off n on...
We, only observers, look on, and wonder...
Something's with the sky tonight

What is happening?

The first thing coming to my mind about most of these photos is the apocalypse. Armageddon. Or rather "skymageddon". It is certainly odd, weird. Depending on how we view it, it can be scary/frightening, but of course it is still beautiful in its own way.

"Skymageddon" - that's a good one! :)
Yes, I agree! Scary, frightening in the sort of way that makes one stop and stare in fascination, in the face of danger, even if it's a matter of life & death... and that one should flee instead of freezing...

Dear @ackhoo, we need your help!

The Hivebuzz proposal already got important support from the community. However, it lost its funding a few days ago and only needs a few more HP to get funded again.

May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work this year?
You can do it on Peakd, ecency, Hive.blog or using HiveSigner.
https://peakd.com/me/proposals/199

Your support would be really appreciated.
Thank you!

This is the first time to see that kinds of clouds and it is very fascinating. I really appreciated and amazed your photo captured Ma'am, and yes our Mother Nature is not abandoned us but needs our help to maintain the cleanliness and beautiful surroundings. ☺️
