Forget about Matrix Resurrections. If you want to see an interesting sci-fi/drama movie, you can look for some not so well known ones like this one, from 2014. I Origins is not a movie of the caliber of the first Matrix, it is far from it, but it is a movie that, in my opinion, is worth watching if you were one of those people who are somewhat curious about both the mysteries of science and those of spirituality

And of course, we could not miss the fact that in both movies, the young scientist falls in love with a beautiful girl, whose beliefs are totally opposite to the scientific ones.

And we see this also in the movie, where the scientist mocks the "soul" and other beliefs of his partner. Another interesting scene is when someone says to the young scientist "Dalai Lama said that if science was found to disprove his religious beliefs, then he would have changed his beliefs.... But what would you do if something spiritual disproved your scientific beliefs".
