If you were to visit Australia

Australia.png

Australia is a charming and undoubtedly striking country, in my case what I love most about this place is its unique fauna, as many know I am an animal lover, especially cats, so visiting a country where there are so many unique animals would be totally fascinating for me and I would focus on seeing all of them or all those that were within my reach.

Obviously, one thing is to appreciate them by documentaries and another would be to see them personally, the ideal for me would be to appreciate them in the wild, as I have mixed feelings with zoos, I would love for example to see personally in their habitat some Tasmanian Devil, their bad temper since they are puppies, I find it charming, in fact my cat Kirara is very bad tempered, so I imagine them the same or worse than her.

Now, if any animal in Australia I would like to see and if possible hug and even kiss, it would be a Koala. I find them simply charming, they look like teddy bears, their fur looks fluffy as if they've been washed with fabric softener and floated out of the dryer.

But what I completely ignore is the temperament of these cute creatures, maybe they are very docile, maybe not, and by being so daring or stalkerish in wanting to at least pet it, I could end up at least scratched.

I imagine myself in front of this cute little animal with its tempting white belly in front of my eyes, the truth is I don't know if I can contain the Elmyra Duff (Looney Toons) I carry inside, because without hesitation I would like to hold it, kiss it and let alone if it is a mom with puppies or a puppy, which usually in all species tend to be more tender and fluffy.

Likewise, I would like to see kangaroos, but from the safety, maybe a vehicle or a company that makes tours inside a park or reserve, especially the red ones that with their huge paws can cause damage, this is obviously part of their nature and I have seen documentaries in which the males fight for territory and females, it is impressive their strength and musculature.

Another animal that I would love to see up close is the Dingo, a unique canine from Australia, and hear the characteristic sound that distinguishes them and differentiates them from our home dogs. In short, I think all of Australia's wildlife, even the crocodiles, show us how being separated from each other made them evolve to adapt to their unique environment.

In summary, the animals of Australia are unique and beautiful, it would be a pleasure and a privilege to see them personally, without a doubt I would live an experience that I would treasure all my life, because I believe that animals are the only ones who know how to live in true harmony, without abusing their environment and I sincerely believe that we have much to learn from them. I am leaving here these lines that are my participation in Weekend-Engagement #190
