Como podrán recordar en el anterior #caturday les compartí sobre los avances de Metra y sí, efectivamente en cuanto a la miasis, ya su lesión está casi cicatrizada por completo, si bien es cierto que su oído quedara expuesto y por ello no debería continuar en la calle, el martes se presentó algo nuevo con este gato, lo que origino un gasto el cual no tengo como costear.

Cuando creí que ya con Metra estaba todo viento en popa, surgió algo nuevo, el martes en la tarde luego de comer se metió en el transportín, en la mañana del miércoles me llamo la atención, no verlo en la puerta al abrirla, creí que estaba comiendo en casa de una vecina o por los jardines dando una ronda, pero no, estaba en el mismo lugar y lucia muy desanimado, además no quiso comer nada de lo que le ofrecí.

Ahora bien, como teníamos que ir de todas maneras a sus curas, le comenté al veterinario lo que había observado y el decidido tomarle la temperatura, tenía 40.6 °C, lo que impulso de inmediato al veterinario a realizarle una hematología completa.

Los resultados indican que está pasando por un proceso, motivado a que muy probablemente se le activó el anaplasma, el cual ya se le había diagnosticado una vez, así que le recetaron un nuevo tratamiento, parte del mismo durara 8 días y el resto se extenderá 15.

Aunque, me alivia saber que esta situación no se pasó por alto, lo que preocupa es que el examen de laboratorio debe ser cancelado porque aunque en la clínica me apoyan exonerándome muchas cosas, el hacer un examen de laboratorio implica el uso de reactivos que son costosos, así que la clínica en la que atienden actualmente a Metra debo 20 $ ¿parece poco?, sí, pero realmente no cuento con el dinero para cancelar dicho monto y ya me señalaron que al terminar el tratamiento debe repetirse la Hematología para ver los valores y saber si lo da de alta o se continúa el tratamiento unos días.

Así que además de los 20 $ que adeudo en la clínica, debo pensar en los otros 20 $ que se necesitaran para la próxima Hematología, pero al no contar con la suma recurro a ustedes, ya que no deseo que se me cierren las puertas en esta clínica que tanto me ha ayudado y espero lo continúe haciéndolo en futuras situaciones, las cuales, aunque no deseo lleguen a veces se presentan.

When I thought that everything was going well with Metra, something new came up, on Tuesday afternoon after eating he went into the carrier, on Wednesday morning I was surprised not to see him at the door when I opened it, I thought he was eating at a neighbor's house or in the gardens walking around, but no, he was in the same place and looked very discouraged, besides he didn't want to eat anything I offered him.

Now, as we had to go anyway for his treatments, I told the vet what I had observed and he decided to take his temperature, it was 40.6 °C, which immediately prompted the vet to perform a complete hematology.

The results indicate that he is going through a process, most likely due to the fact that he has activated the anaplasma, which had already been diagnosed once, so he was prescribed a new treatment, part of it will last 8 days and the rest will last 15 days.

Although, I am relieved to know that this situation was not overlooked, what worries me is that the laboratory test must be cancelled because although in the clinic they support me exonerating me many things, to do a laboratory test implies the use of reagents that are expensive, so the clinic in which they currently attend Metra I owe 20 $ does it seem little, yes, but I really do not have the money to cancel that amount and they already indicated me that when finishing the treatment the Hematology must be repeated to see the values and to know if they discharge him or continue the treatment for a few days.
