Hello friends. Happy to see the week that will end the month of January. This is sounding like a joke, but one month is gone. And the year is fast moving.

When we say "your means", what does that means? It can be seen as a Financial resources. Your earnings. What you get at the end of any job you do. What you have been able to gather from what you are doing. All these can all be means.

Then, living above your means is simply talking about spending beyond your income. When you spend more than what you earn, or more than what you are expecting. Then you are definitely eating up your tomorrow. Because your future will still suffer the consequences of your actions.

What you need to consider is, what is my means? What is my income? Or how much is my income at the end of the day or week or month? This is sopposed to be done even before making any Budget.

But today we see a lot of people buying what they can't afford on credit. So many people just in the name of busting before friends can order for something that he can not pay for in a bar parlor. When you buy cars, clothes, experience house, order for experience food all in the name of big boy or girl, you are actually living above your means. After everything, you will still go and borrow from others to clear your dept. That is cheating your tomorrow. Because the money that you borrow to settle those dept was sopposed to be used to solve one problem or the other.

The best is for us to manage what so ever we are getting today and work hard hopping for a better tomorrow. If only we can learn to do this, surely, we will be out of dept. And our future will not suffer the consequences, because what is meant for tomorrow will not be tempered by today.

Be grateful for what you have and use it judiciously. Don't starve your future. Protect your future. It is very important, even if not because of you, it might be because of others around.

Thanks for hopping in to my blog today.
