THE DAY OF HARVEST IS THE DAY OF JOY.

Hi. Today is a great day indeed. I believe you also see it the same way that I see it.

Welcome to my blog. Today is Saturday and because is not a working day, I felt that I can use the opportunity to go and check out my farm to know how is doing. And guess what I discovered! My maize farm is doing great. What I saw made me very happy. Knowing that in less than a month from now I will be harvesting my maize made me feel happy. Not just any how maize, but as you can see I have one of the most beautiful farm this year. God decided to favour me this year. Unlike the previous years that I will farm and will only get little out of everything.

But for this year is a different story all together. I actually adopted the method I saw my friend using, which is planting once I see the first rain. I have seen my friend do this most of the years and it have favoured her. But thia year, I was advised to use her method to see if it will work for me.

When the first rain comes at the beginning of April, some of us will be afraid that if we go ahead and plants our crops it will take a long time before another rain will come again. But for some who are not afraid, they go ahead and start planting their seeds hopping that rain will keep coming at the right time. After everything, we will discover that their farm will do better than ours and they will even harvest before us because their crops was planting before ours.

As I decide to follow her steps this year, the result is evidence. And I am so happy, that in few weeks from now I will be having enough food in my house. That also means that I will soon stop buying grains from the market, because I will be having more than enough even to share with my family and friends.
