My Best Landscape - Travel Contest #02
Hello lovely Hiveans !
Today I would like to participate in the Travel Contest that is hosted by @lightcaptured. This week it has the topic: MY BEST LANDSCAPE ... For my entry I choose my trip to the San Jacinto Mountains, in Riverside County, California., where I have been in the beginning of 2017 - I hope you like it ^^
The Landcapes of the Mountain Range
I like to start with this panorama picture that I recorded at the top of one mountain peak there. It shows the nearby area, which is full of hills that are scatered througout the whole area.
I went on this trip with some friends that I made during the few months that I spend in California while I was studying abroad. I really liked the view from up there. It was possible to look very very far and to detect some snow covered mountains and the clouds that were hangin in-between them in the distance.
The whole area featured only a scarce vegetation, but the combination of the distant mountain peaks, hills, and the little redish accent colours of the bushes looked very appealing to me and I found the view quite fascinating.
At one point of our hike the area featured more and more snow everywhere around. The further we came, the more snow appeared. This changed the whole appearance of the landscape a little bit, but still in a very nice way.
WHile we went further up, the snow got more dense and started to cover the whole road. It was quite cool to suddenly wander in the snow, while the temperatures where still quite warm, as it was still in California.
In genreal, the whole state, as well as its neighbour states feature so many beautiful landscapes and anyone who loves hiking will be not disappointed there ^^
All pictures were taken by myself, ©@adalger, in the San Jacinto Mountains, in Riverside County, California, 2017.
