My Cleaning Activity For Friday the 12th of April, 2024.

Good day my fellow Hivers, welcome to my blog. Today I carried out my cleaning activity on the site. The labourers were moulding blocks today. I prepared food for them, so that they can get enough energy for their work.I was also supervising the work being done on the site , so I had no time to really rest since morning. I closed the site around 6 o'clock pm. We were moulding these blocks because the windy rain has made many buildings collapse. We were moulding blocks for the collapsed part of the fence.
I took time to clean the environment. I picked up different refuse which includes polythene, plastic bottles, sachets of water, wraps of biscuits and sweets etc. These refuse made the place unclean , it would have affected the blocks being moulded. This made the place very clean so that we could arrange the blocks on the lawns.

Indiscriminate dumping of solid waste has contributed immensely in drainage clogging which plays a major role in the increase of flood rates.Flood is inevitable when drainages are blocked.
clogging of drainages leading to water stagnancy, breeding ground for mosquitoes, flies, smells, and housing disease vectors can be prevented when we curb indiscriminate dumping of refuse.
The road in the community has developed potholes as a result of erosion
