My Cleaning Activity For Sunday, the 21st of April, 2024.

Good day, fellow divers, welcome to my blog. I carried out my cleaning today within my immediate surroundings, I packed all the refuse into a garbage bag and disposed it off properly. There was a heavy downpour today as everybody went to bed earlier than usual, as a result of the rain.

Many people also put buckets in the rain to collect some drinking water for the family, forgetting that indiscriminate disposal of refuse can affect the whole community as a result of drinking contaminated water. This is because as the rain was falling, it was accompanied by severe wind. The people collect this rainwater in diverse containers, they store them and drink the stored water.

More so, the stored water is what many families drink till the commencement of another rainy season. This is the more reason why we need to take care of the environment because toxic, or hazardous, air pollutants are substances that cause or are suspected of causing cancer, birth defects, or other serious harms. They can be gases, such as hydrogen chloride, benzene and toluene or compounds and metals such as asbestos, cadmium, mercury and chromium.

Don’t pay the price, keep your city nice. don’t litter.
