My Cleaning Activity For Tuesday, the 30th of April, 2024.

Good day, fellow hivers, welcome to my blog. I carried out my cleaning activity for the day within my community. I went around picking litter that had been disposed of indiscriminately on the untarred road leading to the community. I packed all the refuse and collected it into a black garbage bag. Then I disposed of it in a refuse bin.

People dump refuse in gutters, this usually causes the river to over flow it's banks every rainy season.
When the drainage becomes blocked and the running water , the water will over flow it's banks. Some even empty their refuse bin into the gutters any time it's raining. They believe the running water will help them dispose off the waste, not knowing that this will pose serious health problems to the inhabitants.
