My First Cleaning Activity On, 8-11-2023.

Good day everyone, I stumbled on this community this morning and I have been busy making my post ready. I am encouraged by what am seeing in this community. This is my first post on the clean planet. Protecting the environment should be a priority for every one of us because of its importance for our health. The environment is responsible for providing the clean air, water and land we need to survive. In addition, spending time outdoors in nature provides our body with essential vitamin D, strengthens immunity and improves general physical and mental health. On the other hand, some may say that the environment has little to do with our health because disease and illness do occur. Most plastic bags do not undergo decomposition. This is because they are not made of organic matter, but of petroleum by-products that cannot be eaten by microorganisms. They never seem to go through decomposition. However, given the right conditions and a thousand years, these plastic bags can photodegrade. This means that the plastic will break into smaller pieces over many years. This is why we need to clean our planet of pollutants, to make the planet a better place to live.
