Ephesians 6v 14-17KJV :Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 KJV:And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 KJV:Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 KJV:And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spiritwhich is the word of God:

Recall:

2 Corinthian 10 v 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;

Our weapons are not physical weapons but they are spiritual weapon given to us by God to overcome all vices of the enemy. The following are the armour of God.

Belt of truth: Having our loins guided with truth is knowing the truth in Christ Jesus. it prevent us for falling on the battle field according to according to:

John 8 v 32 :And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

When we know the truth, we will not get intimidated by the threat of the enemy because the truth shall set us free and the truth can be found in the word of God.

Breastplate of righteousness: Guide your heart with righteousness. Righteousness entails total obedient to God's word. The heart is an essential part of the body which must be pure and incorruptible. When the heart is polluted it gives the enemy a chance to manipulate the heart with fear and doubt.
Righteousness is given to us through Christ Jesus, so we need to embrace it.

Feet shod: It gives firmness and stability. Christ is our solid rock, on him we stand. We should prepared for the gospel of peace. Our peace is solely found in God. He is the prince of peace. The gospel is a gospel of peace. So we should embrace the gospel of peace because in that we can overcome our fears and doubt. In Christ, we become immovable and unshakable by the threat of the enemy.

Shield of Faith: Faith is so essential in overcoming principalities and power in high places. Salvation is claim through faith. Christ has given us victory when he resurrected from death. He has given us power over principalities and powers and our access point to this power given to us is to believe and have faith . To overcome principalities and power, our life must be shielded with faith.

Helmet of salvation: we must be saved. The battle is not ours but is of the lord, when we are saved, he will surely steps in and fight for us. Salvation brought freedom to us through Christ Jesus. To access this freedom we must be shielded with the helmet of salvation. i.e it protect the head. Christ is the head of us all. He stands to protect mankind when he die and resurrected from the dead. His death and resurrection brought freedom, victory and liberation to us all.

Sword of spirit: The word of God is used in combating the enemy. The word of God is life and power. When we know the word of God we can never be defeated. So it's essential we meditate the word of God daily so that we won't become a prey to the devil.

Hebrew 4 v 12: KJV: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The word of God is quick, powerful, sharper, pierce and can discern. The word of God is a great weapon to attain authority over principalities and power. A wordless life will become a prey to the enemy. The word of God is our life manual. To live a victorious life stick to the word of God, which is our life manual. When we have the word of God in us, we will have the courage and the full authority to face and conquer the enemy.
