Market Friday
Hello hive, it's #MarketFriday
This week has been so stressful and occupied that I hardly have enough time for myself, no time to eat or get enough rest
And staying hours without food for an ulcer patient like me isn't a good one, my antacid suspension and tablets has been my every minutes snack and drink
So, today I was at a pharmacy to get antacid suspension drug for myself and to get antihypertensive and antidiabetic drugs for my mum
The pharmacy is a big one and it's just about 7.2km away from my house, I prefer to go there because I often get wholesales price for whatever drug and quantity of the drug I purchase, my mum is a nurse and has been an old customer of the pharmacy and often times she will send them list of what she wants to get via phone and send me there to pick them up
I bought her antihypertensive drug; Pilorem + HCT for $10.5 for a pack which contains 30 tablets and her anti diabetic drug; Glucokate G for $5.1 for a pack which also contains 30 tablets, my antacid suspension; a bottle cost $0.5 so, I bought 3 bottles
I'm use to Peace mist mag suspension but they are out of stock and had just a bottle left so, the pharmacist on duty recommended Moko mist mag trisilicate and it's the same price as my usual, I just hope it is as effective as it too.
Thank you for reading❤
Well, I sure hope that your ulcer feels better soon! Stay away from coffee, coke, acidic food. I am sure your doctor gave you a list. Did you drive the 72km away or did you take public transportation? That is pretty far for a pharmacy. With the price of gas, you might have saved by buying local? I am not sure. Our gas has gone up so much it is ridiculous.
Take good care of yourself!
#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers markets and eventually branching out and evolving over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of what is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.
Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:

Upped and reposted
Yeah, he did and I'm trying to adhere to his instructions but its not been easy, beans is actually one of my favorite and as an ulcer patient, eating too much of beans is not advisable as the acidity content of it is high.
I meant to write 7.2km not 72km, that must have been a typo error due to the stress I guess, my eyes was seeing 7.2km 😂 though i have it edited already, thank you 🙏 I took a public transport down there
Local stores around here don't sell drugs that cost alot, antihypertensive and anti diabetic drugs can only be seen in a big store, we only get to see first aid drugs and some cheap drugs in our local stores here.
Thank you for checking my blog 🙂
