The priceless gift - LOH Contest #64

Hello ladies of hive, welcome to the new year

Last year was a very challenging year for me and my family, seeing the #LOH contest for this week brings the memories of all that I overcame last year.

I really I'm most grateful for the gift of life, such a priceless gift 🙂

If anyone had told me that my mum would survive last year challenges that she faced and still be alive hail and healthy to witness 2021 I wouldn't have believed

My mum was hypertensive and virtually throughout last year she was on the hospital bed, a day to my birthday, she was rushed down to the hospital, I had to celebrate my last year's birthday at the hospital and my only wish was that she survived, I wasn't ready to lose her, I was scared.

And here I am today being grateful for the gift of life, thy Lord has counted my family worthy of HIS mercies.

Another thing I'm grateful for is a life well spent

Last year, I lost a dear friend to kidney failure, he has been managing it for 4 years and has been on dialysis, he had an option to go for kidney transplant but the money wasn't there to make it possible. He was an orphan and the breadwinner of his family, he died on his 34th birthday...

It hurts so much to lose him to the hands of death but I am most grateful and glad that he died knowing Christ and the Holy book makes me to understand;
“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live” (John 11:25).
