What are the important points we have learned from God's words discussed in the Zoom meeting?
Lying is not Good as it can take someone to hell. In the book of Revelation 21:8 confirmed this that anyone committing sin such as lies, doubt, worshipping idols will end up in Hell.
Jeremiah 23:14, 21 There are Fake Prophets and True Prophets. Some Prophets send themselves, God did not send them but because of their stomach and selfish interests they started the work of Ministry. Those ones that are sent by God are faithful to the calling.
1 Kings 22:23 God gave those that sent themselves 'lying spirits' because they are not remorse, they don't want to change from their wickedness, they don't want to listen to God.
Isaiah 5:20 There are some people that see evil as good and good as evil. Such people shall perish.
1 Timothy 5:15 They have turned away from God to follow Satan.
God gave us free will, we are not forced to do whatever he asked us to do. But when we do it willingly, God is always delighted about this.
Rehab the prostitute learnt to do good to his fellow men which were sought after to be killed, and by hiding them she did the right thing. This is not lying as the Atheists concluded.
What we can call lies are Theories of the Atheists, The Big-bang theory, Natural selection and Premodial soup.
There are sins that forgivable and there are some that are unforgivable. But there are facts that cannot be changed which are not understood by the Atheists.
The false accusation of lies that The Atheists had against Rehab is not right. This Atheists are looking for where they can find fault or error in order to deceive people not to believe or follow God. Human beings are prone to error and there is something called consideration among human beings.
Common sense is another name for such consideration to prevents evil. If it were to be one of our relatives that is being chased after to be killed and we hid such person that is not lying, it us common sense because you won't want him/her to be killed.
Exodus 20:15 One of the ten commandments is "not to steal".
It is not stealing to recover what rightfully belongs to you. You can always recover what's yours.(Genesis 14:4-17).
Exodus 12:35-36 The Israelites did not forced the Egyptians to release their possession. God controlled the heart of the Egyptians, so that the people of Israel may receive favor in their sight.
Stealing means taking forcefully or not what belongs to someone else with or without his knowledge.
Luke 19:29-34 Everything that exist belongs to God. And he taketh it at his own will.
What are our old beliefs or expectations that were improved by listening in the Zoom meeting?
My old beliefs are:-
Lying Spirit comes from the Devil, but now I know that God gave it to prophets that send themselves and refused to believe the truth.
I have no idea about this common sense that Rehab out to use before but now I know that its common sense and human consideration to save a soul from getting killed.
How does the study affect us that can make us a better person that we can use in our daily lives?
- Consideration towards my fellow men in order to avoid evil coming to them.
- To recover what rightfully belongs to me, which has been established that it is not "an act of stealing".
- To keep God's commandment willingly, because this makes God happy.
