Titans vs Dolphins Preview - A lot on the line today!

It feels like an eternity since the Titans last played. Christmas came and passed, I got sick and well, I still am sick. But now we are in a New Year. New Year, same exact mission for the Titans!!

Once again, for like the 1,000th time, this game is HUGE. It is huge for both teams today. There are huge playoff consequences for both teams.

Winning is obviously the goal no matter what week or situation. Still, a win for the Titans today would CLINCH the Titans second consecutive AFC South Division Title which would also obviously clinch them a playoff berth!

A win would also allow the Titans to stay in good position to possibly grab the AFC #1 Seed. If the Titans win and the Chiefs lose to the Bengals, which is entirely possible, that would indeed be the case!!!

A loss would be terrible but there is still a chance for the Titans to get what they want if that horrible outcome happens. If the Titans lose but the Colts also lose then that would mean the Titans are still AFC South Champs!

The Titans can clinch a playoff spot with a loss if TWO out of these three teams lose: Chargers, Ravens, Patriots. The Titans could also clinch a playoff spot with a tie.

The Dolphins on the other hand, have grinded their way to be in a playoff spot and they are going to be hungry to try and solidify their place in that race. Heck, the Dolphins have an ok chance at winning their division still despite how surprising that may sound.

The Dolphins are a well coached team, with great defense. They have roots in New England and so they have that similar gritty mindset as the Titans do. The Dolphins offense is kind of meh, but they have weapons too.

This matchup was going to be physical no matter what time of year it was played, but with all of these implications, this game is bound to be really intense!

The Titans are coming into this game on a bit of extra rest and even some motivation thanks to some off the field stuff...

This game is also in Nashville so hopefully the fans are JUMPING.

A.J. Brown needs to continue his dominance from last week and the defense needs to contain the Dolphin's shifty QB in Tua.

I am so nervous for this game, I was in some NFL chat rooms earlier talking JUNK and man I am READY for this game!!!

My sickness is not gone like I thought it was, and so concentrating on writing this post was surprisingly challenging for me but I'm glad I got it done. I hope despite my sickness some of my enthusiasm for this game got through to whoever really reads this LOL.

I am PUMPED BABY!!!

Let's go Titans!!!!
