This sounds pretty useful, but I’m a bit confused on the metal plates part.

Just three flimsy metal plates are attached with practically no support; when the user plugs in the device, they'll put pressure on these weak plates, bending or separating them from the plug.

What are you referring to here? Can you attach a photo of those plates and maybe what it looks like when you plug something into it? Thanks:)
