FINDING A PLAN TO HELP ACTUALIZE A DREEM

Sometimes, it's hard to talk about your dreem. This is not for fear that you will not succeed but for fear that you have raised hopes and aspirations of others listening or reading. But dreems if locked inside can be risky to achieve. This is because when discouragement sets in, the dreemer can beg off, believing that since no one knows about, it becomes easy to sweep under the carpet.

On the other hand, dreem shared and even with a deadline fixed becomes a debt the dreemer must pay because all readers and listeners are anticipating.

I have a dreem like I have said in early parts of the dreemport challenge but i know that to achieve that dreem, finance is needed. It is a very tall dreem if you do not have the means.

PLANS
To help actualize my dreem, I am looking at picking back the business I had from where I dropped it. That way, I can have more income added to the one I earn secularly and also add up to the one made online.

I had a pasteries business, Hubby and I bake bread while I also make chinchin and supply. At a time the bread was home made and we deliver to people on request and also take everyday to my school.

For some time now, we packed up the business because the cost of ingredients had skyrocketted. Hubby is not ready to reduce the quality if his bread and making it with pricy ingredients will only leave us at a liss, so we decided to take a chill pill on it for now and concentrate on our my ain jobs since that was like a hobby
So for this week, I had to start by looking for the label of the chinchin. Many will not buy if there is no label and to an extent, I was doing it on a large scale before.

I wish you to get back on track with it, while still pursuing things relating to making my family better.

After the festive period, I hope to visit the market and find the recent cost of materials and also use this holiday period to look for shops, mini markets, schools or super markets to visit and introduce yo our products and see who wants to try our delicious bread/chinchin and eat with relish 😅

DEADLINE.
I am setting a date for this adventure to start materializing. With God's help, things may look perplexing now and overwhelming, but I am giving it three months to be able to know and see where we stand

If you ask me, I am already tired of living in my country, I love to look for greener pastures, but I also believe in a God's plan for everyone. If God says he will bless me more and I will fulfill all my heart desires here, Let God's will be done.

For the sake of this challenge, here is my entry. We trust in God to help us, even for the better.

Thanks for stopping by.

Yes, I agree with you. Only God can level any tall dreem. Your plans are good and with the right strategy and advert marketing, it's a winner.

In God we trust.

The bread and chinchin are looking yummy and I feel like breaking into the picture through my phone but I remembered it's a Samsung phone I am using and if it gets faulty, omo, na another expenses be that 😅😅
But it's a nice plan revisiting your dream and making it a reality again while earning from it. I guess it would even be more good if you have people you supply on bulks too apart from selling bit by bit.

I'm aware of how expensive ingredients are right now that is why a lot of bakeries have reduced the size of there breads while some decide to reduce the quality of their bread. I guess your hubby just have to compromise to go with the latest trends.

I believe adjusting is the way forward, not just packing up. We hope to revisit the idea again, thanks so much

I sincerely hope you pick up this business and make it work again. Label is indeed necessary, maybe you can start with that while sourcing finance. Wish you luck

This is one of the challenges small business owners face in Nigeria. See how a very lucrative business packed up due to increased costs of materials.
I respect your husband for sticking with quality over quantity.

Wishing you success as you start off again.

@adoore-e...

I had never heard of chinchin, so I had to go researching. Oh my goodness... I found this YouTube Video:

From your photos, it looks like you have had a lot of experience in making this. So many loaves of bread... I bet it smelled amazing when you were making those! When I was young, I used to manage a Subway restaurant... I **loved making the bread almost as much as making the sandwiches! Keep in mind that the bread was frozen before we proofed and baked it. But the smells were still divine! If you think this is something worth creating... go for it!! Be sure to let us know how your journey is going!

Thanks so much @wesphilbin for going the extra mile to look for what chinchin is and coming back to make such an upbuilding comment. I serious hope to go back there and I trust that with God on our side and encouragement from friends like you, we will make a head way

It sounds as though you are being very sensible in revisiting your bakery business, Adore 🤗 I hope and pray that you can find a way to source reasonably priced raw ingredients that still allow you to produce a quality product at a profitable price. I wish you every bit of good fortune on your journey. !LUV !LADY

ps: your breads look yum!

pps: Suggestion: if you re writing in Ecency community, make sure that you use their front end to publish your post and also use #ecency as one of your post tags. Occasionally they come along and support posts as part of their encouragement programme 🤗

I dropped in from Dreemport this evening.
