Saludos amigos de #hive y #alienart, espero estén teniendo un gran inicio de semana. El día de hoy comparto con ustedes otro fanart de pokemon, de los cuales hay más de 500 pokemons distintos.

Entre estos también hay pokemons legendarios, como en el caso de este pequeño amiguito, el cual también es conocido como el guardián del bosque. Pero a diferencia de este hay otros pokemones legendarios de mayor tamaño, algunos con un aspecto menos amigable que otros.

Esta pequeña y peculiar criatura que puede resultar conocida para los fans de Pokémon, es Celebi. Su apariencia es similar a la de un hada y su origen se basa en los Kodamas, espíritus míticos de Japón, que habitaban los bosques espesos, al igual que este Pokémon.

This peculiar little creature that may be familiar to Pokémon fans is Celebi. Its appearance is similar to that of a fairy and its origin is based on the Kodamas, mythical spirits of Japan, who inhabited the thick forests, just like this Pokémon.

Celebi posee la habilidad de viajar por el tiempo, y su origen en este mundo es del futuro. Tiende a viajar al pasado para evitar tragedias, tanto con los humanos como con el ambiente, su objetivo principal siendo restaurar los bosques y hábitats llenos de vida. La creencia general dice que, mientras Celebi continúe apareciendo, hay un futuro brillante al que mirar con esperanza. También, se piensa, que el que una persona logre avistar a Celebi, indica que buenos tiempos están por venir.

Celebi possesses the ability to travel through time, and its origin in this world is from the future. It tends to travel to the past to avoid tragedies, both with humans and the environment, its main goal being to restore forests and habitats full of life. The general belief is that, as long as Celebi continues to appear, there is a bright future to look forward to. Also, it is thought that if a person manages to spot Celebi, it indicates that good times are ahead.

- Realicé la base con el tono azul, usando la plumilla de tinta suave.

I made the base with the blue tone, using the soft ink nib.

- Luego dí forma al dibujo con un color verde, definiendo ojos, antenas, alas y manos.

Then I shaped the drawing with a green color, defining eyes, antennae, wings and hands.

- Con el tono negro realicé el trabajo de linea en todo el dibujo. Luego elimine las líneas de base.

With the black tone I did the line work all over the drawing. Then I eliminated the base lines.

- Realicé la base de color en todo el dibujo, con sus respectivos colores.

I made the base color throughout the drawing, with their respective colors.

- Realicé una capa de sombra en todo el dibujo para darle volumen.

I made a layer of shadow in all the drawing to give it volume.

- Detallé las alas y las piernas del pokemon.

I detailed the wings and legs of the pokemon.

- Detallé el resto del cuerpo, ojos, cabeza y antenas.

I detailed the rest of the body, eyes, head and antennas.

- Realicé un fondo oscuro con luces verdes, amarillas y azules alrededor.

Me encanta dibujar pokemons, en especial porque fue una de las series que vi de pequeño, cuyos juegos aun me gustan mucho. Así que de vez en cuando pueda que realice uno que otro, pero no niego que tengo favoritismo con los tipos agua, planta y hielo.

I love to draw pokemon, especially because it was one of the series I watched when I was a kid, whose games I still like a lot. So from time to time I might draw one or another, but I don't deny that I have favoritism with the water, plant and ice types.
