Domestic Violence - MCGI TOPIC REVIEW

Domestic Violence is an act not supported by either God or man. We could see that even the court of the world enforces great punishment on anyone committing the crime of domestic violence.

The scripture says they are no longer 2 but 1 as long as they have been joined together in holy matrimony. The husband is maritally in the wife and the wife is also in the husband though they may be physically two.

Now who is the human created of this same flesh, having blood and water run through their veins will raise up his or her hand to slap themselves except if they have been possessed by an evil spirit which would cause them to harm themselves.
So anyone involved in domestic violence, inflicting pain and suffering on their partners are under the control of the devil and possessed to obey him since they have subdued themselves under his control.

If you notice my write-up from above, it will be observed that I wasn't mentioning just men alone but both genders because we mostly focus on men to be the culprit of domestic violence and women being the victims but the fact remains that there are some women or female gender as a whole who act violently towards their men.

It may sound funny and strange but this actually happens and it is not until a partner is been beaten to stupor that we can count it as domestic violence. There are some men who are gentle in nature but unfortunately they have a partner who violently act towards them in one way or the other.

Though it mostly happens that women get to be victims of domestic violence, like let's say 85% of which have led to many women's death or turning half-dead because they could not walk away all because of what family, friends or world will say most especially as a Christian.

I've seen some pastors encouraging women to stay in a home where they are been beaten and violently maltreated all because of christaindom that I even had to stand up in a church I went to as a first timer to go against what the pastor or so called teacher said about church not interfering in domestic violence because it is a for better for worse (Like are you kidding me? I don't care if I'm a first timer)

Likewise, there are some we heard about in the news or on social media that in the process of defending themselves when they couldn't walk away, they get to become a criminal defending themselves on the basis of self-defense.

God is not in support of anyone who raises their hands against their partners and just like a minister of God said today from the program I attended (as if he knew I was going to write on this) that whosoever raises his hand to beat his wife is CRIMINAL, EX-CONVICT, AND DEVIL'S MESSENGER because you wouldn't dare hurt yourself so if you count your wife to a part of you then you should never think of hurting her and same to the woman.

It's never an option or excuse to raise your hands against someone you claim to love. Even if you don't love them.
