[Movie] Pushpa The Rise
Been a while I see Bollywood movies and seeing one this morning did not make me feel disappointed in my expectations. I've known Bollywood action movies to be superb with excessive tricks, lol. I guess the fun makes us forget the excess of it.

Pushpa The Rise is an Indian 2021 action and thrilling movie produced by Shukuma and also starring Allu Arjun, Asmika Madona, Jagadish, Sunil, Ajah Gosh and the likes.
Watching Pushpa makes me remember Bahubali, an Indian movie with all the jumping, rolling of things in the thin air and the unnecessary breeze that blows when a fist lands few people to the wall.
Pushpa is a story of a young man who grew up with no surname, that is, he was deprived of a father and the right to his surname right before the poor boy's face and in the presence of his mum, teacher and other pupils because he was born out of wedlock. Not because his father didn't love and accept him but because his step-siblings were not ready to accept him after their father's death.

Pushpa can actually endure any pain in the world but not being insulted with not having a surname because doing this questions his birth and the dignity of his mother and he will actually deal with you with his last breathe.
Pushpa will never bow to anyone because of status or position and every obstacle for people in smuggling the red wood for the syndicate, is an ice breaker for him as he ends up solving the whole problem even when others have lost hope which makes him a hunt for the SP officer.
I love the courage and strength of the character and how he turned out to be successful with no resources for good upbringing. It simply shows that once you're determined to be successful and not relenting due to your present situation or people around you, success is certain to be achieved.

I love how betrayers got their share of the cake where Kondareddy got shot while he was trying to shoot and bury Pushpa. Also, has his brother Jalreddy was served hot beating to stupor by Pushpa when he tried to sleep with Shrivalli so that her father can be released just like he does to every other girls he has interest in. He must deflower them even if they are getting married the next day.
Lest I forget, Shriviani was a girl Pushpa loved at first sight and he tried everything possible to make her look his way let alone knowing his intentions but all efforts prove futile as she would always look away and not in his direction until Jagadish paid his way to the friends and ask them to tell Shrivalli to look at Pushpa and also smile at him, after which they proceeded to paying to get him a kiss. At first It felt like a girl playing hard to get and still concurring to requests due to money involved until she confessed her feelings to Pushpa herself on the night she was supposed to sleep with Jalreddy and release her father. I love how Pushpa personalized it to Jalreddy that Shrivali was his, lol.

Pushpa bought his way into rulling the syndicate after exposing Mangalam Srinu (Sunil) of his theft act in selling the red woods for 2 cores per truck and delivering 25 lahks to the syndicate even after killing his dearest brother-in-law.
This typically shows how more the rate of Pushpa enemies becomes day by day and just when I thought Pushpa The Rise was coming to an end, another character sets in as the new SP officer after the resignation of the former one which brought about a total twist to the story. He made Pushpa do what he has never done and went Scot free with what no one will ever say to Pushpa about his surname.

I thought Pushpa had finally seen who to succumb and bow to until the night of his wedding....
How the part 1 ended is worth seeing with the whole banger to banger and series of fight scenes if you're a lover of action movies with a spice of film tricks.
The movie lasted up to 2hrs 55minutes so there was room for every detailed but relevant scene.
I'll be dropping my 🖊️ here on the movie review
