Planting of vegetables is very fine because it's what we use to cook the soup we eat, sources we use to eat rice as stew and other foods. Vegetables are a very fine sources for food and they help to build our body. I don't believe any community or environment we survive without planting vegetables because that is enough to bring hunger. What I usually tell my brothers from the Southern parts of Nigeria is never to forget to plant vegetables due to the hardship in the country because if the lack of other foodstuffs reaches where vegetables in the country is lacked that may cause quachioko do to lack of vegetables in our body.

From the way things has become very expensive in the market, it's time gardeners should take their vegetable gardening as their sole business. If we can possibly take our vegetables gardening as our sole business, I believe we can help to fight hardship in the country. We should also do our self the favor to encourage our beloved one to enter gardening if vegetables to help increase the garden produce where it could serve a lot of people.

I know a lot of farmers and gardeners who use what they harvested and soled in the market to train their children to school. So, if we can also encourage others and tell them why there's need for them to cultivate vegetables and other crops, I believe that alone can also reduce crime in our society as many we began to see it as their main business.

I run my table business but I have not for a day think of not farming or doing my vegetables gardening because you see that my food table business is standing today is also as a contribution my vegetables gardening has done. I plant almost three seasons of vegetables in a year depending on how the weather is and I harvest them, use some to cook the food we eat while I sell the rest and make money from it. With such things I have gained farming and gardening, I believe the youths, and aged people can also have it if they can join me to farm and garden.

To see those new enter gardening of vegetables and do very fine, they need to see gardening as something their labour will have to count because you can't cultivate any vegetable and allow it to germinate and grow on its own without watering it morning and evening, monitoring to see if it's affected by pest and disease, natural disaster, and others. If not, the vegetables will die.

On like me, some of my vegetables are no longer doing fine. This happens because of some care I didn't give to the garden or should I say I didn't see it coming. Some areas of my garden has started dying because the way I used hand to harvest greenleaf was wrong. I'm supposed to use a knife to do the harvesting. The way my water leaf leaves are tiny, I'm supposed to remove their flowers on time because that usually helps a water leaf leaves to be big. The way African pumpkin is dying, the water that entered my garden due to the recent rain was not seen on time and the water got hot by sun and that's has affected my African pumpkin.

Some of the things I may have touched above is what to expect you'll be doing if you're to enter gardening of vegetables so that your labor will not be I vain.

La siembra de verduras es muy fina porque es lo que usamos para cocinar la sopa que comemos, fuentes que usamos para comer arroz como guiso y otros alimentos. Las verduras son una buena fuente de alimento y ayudan a construir nuestro cuerpo. No creo que ninguna comunidad o entorno sobreviva sin plantar verduras porque eso es suficiente para pasar hambre. Lo que suelo decir a mis hermanos del sur de Nigeria es que nunca se olviden de plantar verduras debido a las dificultades del país, porque si la falta de otros alimentos llega hasta donde faltan verduras en el país, eso puede causar quachioko por falta de verduras en nuestro cuerpo.

Por la forma en que las cosas se han vuelto muy caras en el mercado, es hora de que los jardineros tomen su horticultura como su único negocio. Si somos capaces de convertir la horticultura en nuestro único negocio, creo que podremos ayudar a combatir las penurias del país. Para que a los que se inician en la horticultura les vaya muy bien, tienen que ver la horticultura como algo en lo que su trabajo tendrá que contar, porque no se puede cultivar ninguna hortaliza y dejar que germine y crezca por sí sola sin regarla mañana y tarde, vigilando para ver si está afectada por plagas y enfermedades, desastres naturales y otros. Si no, las hortalizas morirán.

Al igual que yo, algunas de mis hortalizas ya no están bien. Esto se debe a que no he cuidado el huerto o, mejor dicho, no lo he visto venir. Algunas zonas de mi huerto han empezado a morir porque la forma en que utilizaba la mano para cosechar la hoja verde era incorrecta. Se supone que debo usar un cuchillo para cosechar. Como las hojas de la hoja de agua son pequeñas, debo quitarles las flores a tiempo, porque eso suele ayudar a que las hojas de la hoja de agua sean grandes. La calabaza africana se está muriendo porque el agua que entró en mi huerto debido a las recientes lluvias no se vio a tiempo y el agua se calentó con el sol, lo que afectó a mi calabaza africana.
