Natural Disasters have come not to go but it's left for we to take precautions and find solutions to abstain from such disasters. Taken measures from natural disasters will contribute from crops planted not to be affected. Natural disasters that can affect crops badly 😞 include Flooding, Wind, Fire. Natural disasters affect crops because they rely to grow and survive because of Water, climate, and sometimes weather ☁️. I'm not surprised that the same natural disasters that helps on growth and survival of crops are the same that kills crops. We're in the world that everything that has advantages also have its disadvantages.

How some of the natural disasters mentioned affect crops

Flooding. This is usually from rain 🌧️. With rain, water will be everywhere in the farm. How rain as a natural disaster affect the growth and survival of crops is through constantly raining or when there's a heavy rainfall. A heavy rain will generate what I call flooding. Flooding is what will now play the role of natural disaster affecting the growth and survival of crops. Raining heavily that generated flooding will flush away crops not well planted. Planting crops that block where flooding will flow through will have nothing than to remove the crop by flushing it out. This will cost any farmer from losing the crop and if care is not taking some flooding may even take away a complete farm by flushing way everything planted as crop.

Wind or a heavy Breeze. This is another side of natural disaster that affect the growth and survival of crops. Wind affect crops that have grown tall such as maize, cassava, pawpaw, banana/plantain, okra, sugarcane, etc. Because crops grow tall, a heavy breeze blowing will fall down crops that is a threat to it passing way. They're crops that will be affected by crops not that they were not planted well but because wind or heavy breeze chose to pass it's way. But they're crops that wind brings down because the farmer didn't plant his or her crops in a deep cultivated soil.

Fire. This is another side of terrible 😔 natural disaster that affect the growth and survival of crops. fire can come from any angle through bush burning 🥵 and the result will affect nearby crops. A farmer can chose to burn dried weeds and when burning, it may live its axis to another farmers axis by burning down his or her crops in their absent. I tell people that when farming they should give some gap from bush and other people's farm so as to prevent fire from other people's farm not to enter their own.

How flooding finished my pawpaw not to survive again

About six days ago, I shared and discussed how natural disaster fell down my pawpaw. Since that day, I wanted finding way to help the pawpaw stand but missed the opportunity.

The day I went to my farm where I planted pawpaw, I witnessed how flooding pulled down pawpaw I planted. I saw it that I was the cause of everything because I planted the pawpaw at a rive side. When flooding now came, it pulled down the pawpaw.

If it was under my power to uproot and transplant the pawpaw in another location after it's fall, I would have done it. But if pawpaw is uprooted from its place of first planting to another location, it'll not survive it. So, what I wanted doing was to find way to make the pawpaw stand back but missed every plan. I was already in a haste that day and it made me not to stand the poor pawpaw from standing back. I told myself that I'll carry out the plan days to come. When I now went to farm to help the pawpaw stand well, a heavy rain two days ago and yesterday damaged everything about the pawpaw. Flooding even blocked the pawpaw leaves with dirt and the pawpaw will never survive again.

My suggestion is when planting crops or any form of agricultural products, we should consider natural disasters.

El fuego puede venir desde cualquier ángulo a través de la quema de arbustos 🥵 y el resultado afectará a los cultivos cercanos. Un agricultor puede optar por quemar las malas hierbas secas y, al quemarlas, puede vivir su eje con el eje de otro agricultor quemando sus cultivos en su ausencia.
