End of Season: Harvesting the Ignite x Ignite (English/Spanish)

Plants spend a lot of time with us or we spend a lot of our time with plants, they become part of our life, they are familiar in our routine and sometimes the fact of cutting them produces mixed feelings, I think I mentioned it before and for this action when we cut or harvest a new genetic, specifically when that specimen reaches the end of its cycle to test it, it then becomes part of our body, so it manifests joy and sadness at the same time but we learn to deal with that kind of feeling.

The Ignite x Ignite was the last plant of the season, now my terrace has no cannabis, I will take a vacation, but then in April I will germinate again the seeds that I have pending to start a new season, if God allows me of course.

On Saturday February 17th I got ready to cut the plant, I always take some captures in the morning, as a kind of farewell ritual, because after noon I always harvest once the sun has gone down a little.

Then when I cut the plant I remove the largest leaves and place it in the closet to dry directly for 15 days, then I place it in glass containers for the curing process and I test it in phases, to see how its flavor changes and improves over the course of the days.

You always think that when you harvest you have nothing to publish, but it is the opposite, now is when the ideas come because when you are tasting the cannabis you harvest the effect feeds the talent you have, if you are a musician, writer, painter or whatever profession you are in.

I have also learned that when we test our genetics we have to do it with moderation because when one has a lot of cannabis material always tends to abuse and seeks to proliferate the effect all day, but as we already know what it is about, we have the duty to regulate our doses.

For me it is a pleasure to grow, especially to come into contact with different genetics and all the learning we get from nature is essential and makes us better people, even helps us to overcome difficulties from different aspects.

Final de Temporada: Cosechando la Ignite x Ignite

Las plantas pasan mucho tiempo con nosotros o nosotros pasamos gran cantidad de nuestro tiempo con las plantas, se convierten en parte de nuestra vida, son familiares en nuestra rutina y el hecho a veces de cortarlas produce sentimientos encontrados, creo haberlo mencionado anteriormente y por esta acción cuando cortamos o cosechamos una nueva genética, en específico cuando ese ejemplar llega al fin de su ciclo para testearlo, se convierte luego en parte de nuestro cuerpo, por ello se manifiesta alegría y tristeza a la vez pero aprendemos a lidiar con esa clase de sentimiento.

La Ignite x Ignite fue la última planta de la temporada, ahora mi terraza no tiene cannabis, tomaré unas vacaciones, pero luego en abril volveré a germinar las semillas que tengo pendiente para iniciar una nueva temporada, si Dios me lo permite por supuesto.

El dia sabado 17 de febrero me prepare para cortar la planta, siempre tomo unas capturas en la mañana, como una especie de ritual de despedida, ya que después del mediodía siempre suelo cosechar una vez que haya bajado un poco el sol.

Luego al cortar la planta me dispongo quitar las hojas más grandes y la colocó en el closet directamente a secar por 15 días, después la colocó en recipientes de vidrio para su proceso de curado y la voy testeando por fases, para saber cómo va cambiando su sabor y mejorando con el transcurso de los días.

Uno siempre piensa que cuando cosecha ya no tiene nada que publicar, pero es todo lo contrario, ahora es que vienen las ideas porque al estar probando el cannabis que cosechas el efecto alimenta el talento que tienes, si eres músico, escritor, pintor o la profesión que desempeñen.

También he aprendido que cuando probamos nuestras genéticas hay que hacerlo con moderación porque cuando uno tiene mucho material cannábico siempre tiende a abusar y busca proliferar el efecto todo el día, pero como ya sabemos de qué se trata, tenemos el deber de regular nuestras dosis.

Para mi es un placer cultivar, sobre todo entrar en contacto con genéticas distintas y todo el aprendizaje que obtenemos de la naturaleza es esencial y nos hace mejores personas, incluso nos ayuda a superar dificultades desde diferentes aspectos.
